ABOUT ME
I've started a KZbin channel exploring food in Vancouver and hopefully around the globe. Let us take you on an adventure to find some of the best eats all around!
My name is Stephan and I am based in Vancouver, BC, Canada... I was born in France but then moved to Canada very young. Growing up as a kid, I developed a strong passion for food through the aromas of my Italian, French and Canadian family kitchen. As I grew up, I had the privilege to be able to travel to many places which further cemented my inspiration and passion for food around the world!
If you like our videos, please SUBSCRIBE, LIKE, COMMENT and give us a THUMBS UP.
See you soon and Ciao For Now!

There's lot of dishes utilizing innards. Chicken : mostly skewers of intestine, blood, feet and head. There is also an adobo of liver and gizzard. Pork : bopis is the most popular dish, intestine are mostly used as casings for longganisa. Stomachs mostly in skewers alongside isaw(chicken bits) Goat : champeni(very much like bopis but more spices and vinegar to mask the pungent smell) Beef : goto. In manila it is a porridge dish like arrozcaldo. In batangas it is a soup dish of its own. And of course soup#5(best to look it up and don't ask me)

Good to see that you are combining different dish with rice. Because Filipino dish are meant to be eaten with rice that's why they are salty. And when our food are bland it means it should be paired with a dipping sauce.
@eduardochavacano
@eduardochavacano 3 жыл бұрын
Salt is not added on food because of the rice! Filipinos say the dumbest things just to have TRIvIa to say to foreigners. All cultures in the universe use Salt! Dipping Sauce??? Is that suppose to impress the White Man??? Dipping Sauces exist in every culture and the dipping sauces in the Philippines are Asia’s cheapest. Except for the fish sauce which can rival the Thai and Vietnamese versions.

Sisig should only be eaten with beer. The whole Myth about Sisig being a dish is Desperation and Delusion by Filipinos ignorant about their own culture. Plus Sisig must never have raw eggs or Mayo, people in Pampanga will throw such sisig in the trash bin.

Mix the halo-halo next time so good and glad you're open to try things your future significant other would be lucky since you're willing to try different food If you don't already have one but if you do one lucky person my favorites are dinuguan,sisig, dinakdakan, Sinigang salmon,pampano,shrimp,chicken,beef ribs pork ribs, pork belly, different kinds of Sinigang, adobo also with egg or potato or chicken and pork or just chicken more on vinegar side or more Chile, bulalo,nilaga, caldereta goat usually sometimes at a celebration, fresh lumpia I think lumpia hubod could be wrong with a sauce on top, and Isaw but I prefer chicken Isaw but thinner or smaller. California Dollar temple And there's another one I think. And your pronunciation is great ! You should go to the Philippines someday ! Awesome food ! I grew up on it I'm half Filipino, my mom is Filipina !

I don't know if they have a restaurant in Vancouver that make beef tongue Pilipino style. This is one of the best Pilipino food you will ever taste. We have several Pilipino Restaurant in the San Francisco area that specialise in it. 🇵🇭🤔This is only serve in the Philippines by higher class on special occasions. It is specially made by kapampangan as I remembered back in the Philippines.

Good effort with those videos, I can see you are dedicated to what you are doing, but I have to let you know a couple of things I find a bit off putting. Every time you eat, I can't help but think about your cameraman and that he's going to eat after you (as yourself mentioned), but you never use side plates, barely use cutlery and keep poking at the food with your fingers and I'm thinking man!, I'd hate to be his cameraman. Fingers with food bits on them are not nice to look at. Another thing you should know is, it's fine to show food in close up before you tuck into it and it's still clean and looks good, but man, as soon as you started eating it, nobody wants a close up shot of half chewed up sandwich. I think you are doing some good work and I wish you all the best, but I'm sure I;m not the only one feeling that way. You made me discover places I didn't know around Vancouver. But with food, it's easy to make something delicious look disgusting.
