The 3 men wearing black are Michael's coreographers,in front is Travis Payne,long time friend and coreograph,they worked with Michael for This is it. That sign is Olodum. sign,they stand for civil rights and many more,the organizations was found in Salvador Bahia Brazil. See Michael's They don't care about us in Brazil.. Actually the Front Dancer is Michael Jackson's personal choreographer..and the two behind his back is a back up dancer and the one who carry flag is also a back up dancer....the rest are more than 1500 prisoners...❤❤❤❤

You had mentioned the best dancers need for some form of musicality. I think I agree with you in general, but that these people have in abundance that has the potential to even be able overcome a shortfall in musicality is time. These people are in prison, and with prison officials also agreeable, the prisoners have nothing but time to perfect the physicality of any moves that could be required in such a dance.

Prior to this performance, Dan...the Cebu Dancing Inmates already have previous performances which were all admired and hailed. The Warden implemented dancing as a form of diversion for these inmates who have talents in dancing, and they were also having an income to support their families while they are being incarcerated. The staff of Michael Jackson taught this performance while they themselves are personally involved.

The 3 Americans frontliners are choreographer from US hired by the jail management in Cebu Philippines to trained them actually the prisoners also make dancing as part of daily exercise routines one of the jail management program to make them fit and healthy to avoid fighting & lessen their longings to their families.

Actually they were not hired. Travis mj personal. Choreo heard from about the dancing inmates when they perform mj thriller He became interested and contact the cebu warden and told him about his plan. To include the cebu inmates in his video and the rest is history. It was very successful it garnered million views

Cebu Dancing Inmates are people in there with small crimes some with big crimes. Cebu prison Warden decided to have these people dancing for something to do and for exercise. People that come to watch can go down to the courtyard and dance with them if they want to. Also, these prisoners practice every day, and they to sleep counting 1 2 3 4, 2 2 3 4, 5 6 7 8
