You mentioned the talent shows being rigged and, in fact, there was a scandal around Marcelito not winning AGT The Champions - although you must react to his Time To Say Goodbye ( a must watch) and Beauty and The Beast performances there. The "how the winner REALLY became the winner" scandal sort of disappeared as the pandemic started exactly at that time and it was conveniently hidden. In true Marcelito style, he did not want to pursue it saying his only disappointment around it was he didn't get the winnings for his outreach to the poor and vulnerable people in The Phillipines. The AGT concert tour and next season were also canceled because of covid cementing the disappearance of the scandal. He is truly a champion to many.

I quit watching after the fiasco. There were people there who reported that there were still golden buzzers available when Marcelito performed but when they showed it on TV they said they were used up. The person who got the buzzer performed after Marcelito. There were more cheats than this!

@@MommaBird52 I am right beside you in this. I will NEVER watch any of these shows again. The addition of those "super fans" provided them the ability to control the results. I heard that the winner was chosen before the show even began and it all revolved around money, benefactors, advertisers and marketing. It was disgraceful.

@@davidsmythe580 Hi David! I am a homebound disabled old lady and I truly wish I could be at one of his concerts. I hope that a good PR team is in place to get the fans out. I looked online and only found 2 performances in CA and they were not linked together at the same ticket vendor. I do not have the resources to make it to California as I am on the other coast but, I will be there is spirit! Hopefully, I will see the performances on KZbin! Take care! Karen

Tom, two quick things: he has a great sense of humor and stage presence - remember, at the end of "The Prayer" when he "removed" his female voice for the Sound Engineers? Plus, you can watch his performances on AGT, they were great, but they make me angry because Simon Cowell screwed Marcelito badly - he was soaring to 1st place and Simon pushed him down to 4th place behind an Asian tumbling team. But yeah, he does funny stuff sometimes, which is just his self-effacing humor . . . "The Power of Love" on the WISH Bus is my choice for next - if you like his Celine . . . . Cheers.
