Neither language is his native tongue. Homeless at 7, he is completely self taught and toned his talent cleaning chicken coops (it keep them calm). He has one song he sounds like a violin at the beginning. I compare him to my African grey parrot that can hear a sound and repeat verbatim. Trouble is my parrot never took up singing. I am always surprised when someone has not heard of him. He has been around for years!

He hit you to the core, didn't he? He IS THE REAL DEAL. He is doing a 20 U.S. City tour as we speak. I am his BIGGEST FAN here in Canada. I had the great privilege of meeting and watching him live in concert in Toronto in 2019. Watching him live was like an out of body experience. The videos DO NOT do his voice any justice. Proud to be Filipino. Cheers from Toronto. BTW, love the accent...reminds me of my favourite show Downton Abbey.

Marcelito is famous for being able to mimic any singer, male or female, in a multitude of languages he doesn't speak. I once saw him do a perfect imitation of Michael Jackson complete with all the dance moves! If you'd like to react to a live stage performance, do his AGT semii-final where he sings "Time to Say Goodbye" a Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli duet.

I really enjoyed watching your reaction! :-) He has never had vocal lessons and he grew up on the streets; but, when he was 24 he entered The Phillipines Got Talent and WON in 2011. He is currently on tour in the United States but doesn't have a concert near me! At 73 I don't see myself getting on a plane; but could and would drive if the distance wasn't to great. I just love him! His voice soothes my soul. God Blessed him with an awesome voice(s).

Nice to see you being "gobsmacked" by Marcelito. I passed that point myself about two years ago and have since then observed it occuring to close to one hundred reactors. He's from the Philippines and self taught while living in the streets. You might check out another absolutely fantastic singer from the Philippines named Morissette Amon. Marcelito Pomoy is a Filipino singer. Of course, he is from the Philippines. He won as grand champion in Pilipinas Got Talent years back. He is gifted with such voice. He sings naturally.

Marcelito and Dimash are both talented, but the main difference is that Dimash has been classically trained since childhood. But Marcelito is completely self taught, which makes his ability that much more impressive. And there's something special about Marcelito's ability to sing with such feeling. Glad you enjoyed him.

Absolutely the worlds greatest imitator. Can duplicate any sound, any voice exactly. Someone asked him how he could do that without any training no training at all? His reply was that is exactly why he is able to do it .From the time he was abandoned as a child no one told him he couldn’t do it or how to do it.He also speaks several languages fluently.

I'm American and I'm gobsmacked too. Andrea is my favorite singer in the world and I'm impressed. Are we sure this little guy is really singing????? WOW OH WOW. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY. He is amazing Demash who. Lol. Sorry I haven't been wanting your videos to support you but I fell off a ladder hanging drapes and broke both my leg bones in my right leg at my ankle and have a metal external fixator on and was in the hospital for 9 days and have my second surgery in the next week or so.

Thank you for an enjoyable reaction video. Marcelito definitely has a unique talent. Another artist that you must react to is Angelina Jordan. As a 67 years old who has been involved in music from a very young age, I can say with 100% certainty that she is on her way to becoming one of the greatest singers of all time. She has about 160 songs in her repertoire including some originals. Although her forte is jazz, she can excel in any genre. She has also performed Rhythm & Blues, Disco, Pop, EDM, Classical, Country, and even rapped in one of her covers. She entered Norway Got Talent at the age of 7 and won at the finals by a landslide. Since that time she and her family turned down very lucrative offers from major music labels as well as Disney in order to allow her to have a normal childhood and to protect her artistic integrity. In 2020 she signed with Republic Records as their highest priority new artist. She has collaborated with David Foster, the late Avicii R. I. P. , Alan Walker, Mark Ronson, and Quincy Jones who personally invited her to perform at his 85th birthday celebration in London at the O2 arena. She even opened for Norah Jones at her concert in Seoul, Korea in front of 40, 000 people when she was 11 years old. You will be amazed and pleasantly surprised. Her fans are very knowledgeable and will flood to your channel with lot of information about her. She is 16 years old now and a great role model for the young generations of today. I suggest the you react to her Screamin’ Jay Hawkins cover “I Put a Spell on You” when she was 9 years old.
