Filipino Star Kai Sotto NBL22 Highlights (He's Back For 2023!)

It’s official. Kai Sotto will be back at the Adelaide 36ers for NBL23.
Quizzed on whether the 2022 Fans’ MVP would return for a second season, coach C.J Bruton revealed the news all Adelaide fans were waiting to hear.

Lots of comments from Philo fans here. Do you know what he’s been doing since missing the draft? It got a bit confusing with Kai not playing summer league and then not playing in the Asia cup. As a 36ers fan, I’m pretty interested to know what he’s been up to as I really want him to continue to develop and improve on some of his deficiencies so he can take the next step.

Agent refused draft and stash offers. Was supposed to be 2 way contract offers but teams found out he still has a live NBL contract. Well, quite understandable, who would buy you out just to play you in the G league mostly. They'd rather wait a year and see from there

Imagine a 19yo Jokic playing in the NBL instead of the NBA. He might be advanced skills-wise but would probably not even get to play because "he's too slow to defend at the perimeter". Dang, didn't even have rim protection, he'll sure be sitting. Kai is, obviously, longer, quicker and has a lot more verticality even at 19 yet seen too little minutes.

Poor dribbling skills, poor shooting skills, below average rebounder with that height, assistless, lack of strength and poor in box out principle . There's a lot to improve on with that highlight player skillset it's almost impossible to be drafted in NBA but closely no. 1 overall pick in PBA
