I like how ur wife adapted very well with the Filipino culture. I'm a Filipino with Scottish wife but she really didn't warm up well with my culture. She said that Filipinos eat a lot. Congratulations your wife is very outgoing and the kids are cute.

Reminds me of my first Thanksgiving dinner with wife. My wife Irish American and me Hawaiian Filipino. She was like "Wheres the mash potatoes and green casserole?". There was about 30 -40 people at my cousin house in Vegas. The look on her face was priceless. Now days here also in Washington where my wife's family's lives, we have thanksgiving dinner and it 9 of us with the traditional thanks giving dinner. I miss it they big gathering around food. Oh do you get this from your aunties. Your getting fat!!! You should watch what your eating! COME ON EAT SOME MORE!. Thanks for sharing.

Yup! This is exactly what we have every year for our family get together during Thanksgiving or Christmas! A little bit of everything! Sometimes there are more desserts than the main dishes or appetizers!!!

Great video. I miss my family's get togethers and the typical Filipino dishes around the holidays. Aside from the traditional dishes (Adobo, Pancit, Lumpia, etc.) we also love other ethnic specialties from other continents. Well done Gabe and Kayla. Regarding "Filipino time," I've always believed that most everyone doesn't want to be the first to show up, nor do they want to be the last one to leave. Hence, being late is acceptable, even up to an hour just as long as it's not way too late.

I cracked up soon as I heard Gabe say "where's the rice".. That's so true with me, We always check out the side dishes first and double make sure there's rice served haha,Enjoyed this vlog, it's great to see how Filipinos get together over Thanks giving and how Kayla enjoys our tradition and yes Filipino time is real, that was one on my biggest pet peeves when I first got married to my wife, I was raised in the UK and it was always customary to arrive on time for everything and Mariah just threw that whole rule book about time, out the window, it was very frustrating and I still have issues with it till this day after 18 years of marriage lol. Kudos you guys.
