I know exactly who is giving thumbs down, but KZbin would not let me answer the question. Let's just say most countertenors are members of a certain protected group. Let just say some members of that protected group hate countertenors who are not members of that group. They hate them to the point of coming to their hotel rooms and home and threatening to kill them. Some French countertenors have even incited their fans against their colleagues who are not members of that group. Most baroque music videos have disabled comments for a reason.

Un placer escuchar a Filippo Mineccia. Años siguiendo todo su repertorio y presentaciones. Los autores y arias elegidas son de un gusto soberbio. Lo mejor del barroco que no todos se atreven a interpretar. Una interpretación cuidada pero natural y llena de sentimiento, interpreta a la perfección el sentir de la letra y la música. Fue y es acompañado por directores y musicos de primerisima caludad y experiencia, lo que completa un espectáculo maravilloso. Para mí es el contratenor, altista o sopranista, que más agrada al oido por su extensos matices de voz, unos agudos espléndidos, y sobre todo, insisto una vez más, el sentimiento en la interpretación es UNICO !!!. Un placer que se disfruta una y otra vez. Desde Buenos Aires - Argentina mis más sinceras felicitaciones y agradecimiento por estos mágicos momentos.

Harmonious melody and sublime countertenor voice! Scarlatti wrote a beautiful score, well balanced and well suited for the string and harpsichord assemble and the solo voice. A peaceful and charming composition, it is the first time I listen to it.

Fabuloso !!! No hay otro que interprete “Dormi, o fulmine di guerra” como lo hace Mineccia. Vive y siente cada palabra del aria. Lo he escuchado en muchas presentaciones, con distintos músicos y directores y siempre está impecable. Podría escucharlo indefinidamente, tal es la belleza de esta aria interpretada por Filippo Mineccia, para mí unos de los mejores contratenores en actividad. Felicitaciones desde Buenos Aires - Argentina.

En general no soy muy adicto al registro de contratenor. Debo reconocer que la interpretación es superior y maneja un fiato muy por encima de la normalidad para este registro. Voz hecha para el barroco sin duda.
