I’ve never tried the Brutfuner pencils, so I can’t compare, but I personally had a good experience with these Ohuhu colored pencils! And thank you so much for your kind words, that means a lot! ❤

Pretty obvious these are some white labeled chinese mass production pencils. Except Ohuhu will probs charge more for them. Im sticking to my Brutfuners.

Fantastic work! I love it as always. Your style is an inspiration and I adore it. Some questions: I took a peak at the product page, with the pencils being oil-based, that would make them easier to blend, yeah? How did you find that during your process? And, with the alcohol markers underneath, was the layering of the pencils on top smooth as well?

Thank you so much, that really means a lot! About the pencils, they’re soft enough to blend really easily, which I loved! When layering over alcohol markers, they don’t apply as strongly as on plain paper, but they’re still totally usable without any issues.

I’m honestly gonna wait and see if they can make a 120 set, it’s still really cool that Ohuhu is expanding other types of art medium outside of the marker medium market

They’ll probably release more sets in the future, this is just the first one!

These are probs just cheap chinese white labeled pencils. Like Brutfuner etc. All coming from the same chinese factory. Ohuhu is just buying them and putting their label on them. They arent any better than all the cheap chinese brands we already had for years. But Ohuhu will probs charge more for them. So Im gonna stick with my Brutfuners.
