@theevolutionofyouchannel10547 жыл бұрын
Thankyou for saying "to achieve precision use the hand file " . Idk if it's laziness or what but people nearly scoff at hand files and think the efile is the only method of professional execution. After watching these videos I think there's a different standard in nails of the east and west coast. In the east coast, particularly the south, - it's rare to see the methods Young nails displays, which I use 🖤.

I I just found your channel! It's great! :D I'm in school right now to be a Cosmetologist! I do want to go to school for a nail tech. In school Next week we will be starting nails I'm super excited! I get my nails done often (just pink and white!) THe time before this last time I had my nails done a new guy did my nails and he took off all my gel and gave me a new set! Thank God they were awful! But the point is he cut all my nails like you just did and they were the most beautiful nails ever!!

I've been a nail tech for almost 15 years and have met the Young Nails crew in person at trade shows. The live demos are awesome. What I meant about the files is that the shape (how they fit in your hand), grit, and how long they last are awesome. I have used their Gel system and it is wonderful too. No lifting, and long lasting.

Can you PLEASEEE make a video about the importance of not touching the skin with any of the chemicals used during a service. Unfortunately, when I was first learning to do acrylics I was very uninformed on this topic because I was mostly self-taught. I got a really nasty chemical burn on all 5 of my fingertips. It was very painful and I would hate for that to happen to anyone else, especially a client! Also, pleaseeeee come to Niagara Falls to do my nails okay? okay!!!! lol💕💕💕

So this might be a dumb question but why would you not have to move the smile line? if there has been growth wouldn't you want to move it back up to where the original smile line was when they got the nails done previously
@izzykitty4476 жыл бұрын
Lauren Keane Less work for the nail tech and some clients wanna safe that time and some even like the look of an extended nail bed
@tgkathay25376 жыл бұрын
Yeah, half the time in the chair, less money (regular fill vs backfill), and if the smile line was set back far enough, you can easily move it every other fill.

Okthis has nothing to do with acrylic but I always have a hard time with this when I'm polishing and it drives me crazy and if you could help me I would really appreciate it because you are the best!! When a client comes in with skin come on over the nailbed on the sides it's so hard to polish how do you get in there without the polish getting all over the place it literally takes me forever to polish somebody's nails with the case like that
@pamelakouzanails67567 жыл бұрын
And pulling the skin back just doesn't do it by the way lol please Greg help and thank you!! Pam 🙏💕
@pamelakouzanails67567 жыл бұрын
I guess it would apply for every application grrrr
@youngnailsinc7 жыл бұрын
Hi Pam, pulling back the skin is definitely the first step. Unfortunately with clients like that you may get some polish on the skin. What we do, is after we have finished the color, take a really stiff small brush, like a gel brush, dip in remover and clean everything up.

If u rebalance the nail each time, it shouldn't be thick, the nail appears as the original set, maybe you have your apex too high on your rebalance? (just a thought)
