Your work is lovely! Not a fan of real butterflies but I think they look beautiful in pictures and art haha so thanks for the tutorial! And just in case you didn’t know or anyone else reads this- If you’re ever editing your text and going through fonts/colors and you don’t want to obscure the letters with the blue selection highlight, once you typed what you want, click out of the text mode and go to your layers, click on the text layer and choose ‘edit text’ and then click the ‘Aa’ and then you can see it better while editing(:

Do you have the butterfly stamp available? I’ve had no issues with layers not matching up, or it going too fast-I do pause it though. I’m incorporating our school horse logo but the butterflies would add a bit of a pop Edit--I did find free stamps. I'll tag you on IG. I really like my piece!

When I press invert my screen goes black, yours stays the same colour so I can’t go any further , any idea why?

Hmm, not sure. If you want to send me a recording of what you're doing I can maybe help more. [e-mail] I'd say just watch again and make sure you're following the steps exactly. Tap on the layer and choose "select" from that menu, not from the Select menu at the top. Then tap "invert" and go back to the layers panel - add a new layer and choose Fill layer. This will look totally black until you hide the layer with the text shapes.

It was doing the same thing for me. I got it to work with a minor adjustment. Instead of choosing SELECT from the side menu and then picking INVERT from the bottom menu, I just chose INVERT directly from the side menu. Hope that makes sense and fixes your issue.

Hi when you hit select before you click invert down on the bottom of task bar, check on the right side there is a bucket. If it's on turn it off. (If it's blue click on it to turn it off.)

Love this idea. Very cute. At 3:30 of ur video your layers do not match up. It appears that u have one less layer than we do. It’s like u edited that part out. Some parts are too fast! Also u should use items that we can all use for beginners. Like the stamps! Some of us can’t draw or have access to stamps!

Yes, that's just a stamp brush that I made. You can draw your own or use any other brush you'd like.
