I had a "you" day. Went to an estate sale this afternoon, and there was a china cabinet with a bunch of figurines and a sign that said everything inside was $7 each. I was glancing, and realized - hey, that's Fenton, and that's Fenton, and that's Fenton. Snagged four good Fenton pieces for $28. This will be my first time selling Fenton, so thank you for all you have taught me!

The blue bow ducks remind me so much of my mom, rest her soul. Back in the early 80s she had her dream kitchen remodel. The theme was the blue sponge wear & ducks. Blue bowed ducks were everywhere, lol. The reason she loved ducks is because we had a duck who lived in our swimming pool for at least 4 years. It showed up one day & didn’t leave. We could even swim in the pool & it wouldn’t leave. I remember my dad complaining because he had to use less chemicals in the pool so we had to clean it out a lot more frequently. Thanks for the nostalgia. 🦆 🐥😊

On the CHALK WARE you have had issues with shipping, I finally learned a great trick and have not had a single one break since. I buy a supply of the cheap pool noodles at the Dollar Store, slice in half and use it to surround the item edges and around then wrap with bubble wrap and tape then box in a box. I also have done this on some very expensive plates as well easy and fast and no breakage anymore. Cheap supply of pool noodles goes a long way and helps to insure the item arrives in tact. And btw when I ship I am clear up in the PNW and norm seems to have to ship to Texas, NY, Rhode Island (costly due to location- but items are ok)

The names to look for in cast iron are Griswold, Wagner and Lodge in that order. Certain Griswold can be in the hundreds of dollars. Wagner in specialty sizes and shapes do well and older Lodge does good but not great.

One of the wonderful things about one-year-olds is that they're easily distracted. In this case, thank goodness for unbreakable salt and pepper shakers! Just a ideas ,MOMMY HACKS , it could be helpful if you get a small activity toy and glue Velcro straps to attach to cart handle were baby can play and not throw it down. ( no sounds for film) lol. You only let her play with it at that time. I had a mom who attended old phone cord to a couple toys hook one end that attached to cart/ stroller. Baby loved dropping it and she loved not haveing to bend down or running over it , just grabbed cord and pulled it back up. Of course didn't use when not with baby and being watchful for any safety issues.

Yes, I had a special bag we called the "What to do" bag. They could only play with those things when I needed them to play quietly. When at home, it was put away and they were not allowed to play with it. It worked great.
