Hi there, thanks again for your time, I really like your explanation. I have a question regarding this 5768 form. I am sponsoring my 2 parents, my husband is a co-signer. And at the same time he is sponsoring his mom only, and I am his co-signer. We got the invitation letter at the same time ,based on 2020 year. Our children are not dependent anymore. So, we are family of two and sponsoring 3 people( my parents, and his mom). So, we are family of 5. Based on your explanation, I placed 2 in box of Q3. A) and 1 in box Q5 ; 1 in box Q6. Am I right? So, all tables from Q9-11 become not applicable. And only Q12 I supposed to list his mom? Sorry, that it took so long to explain and ask in details. I really appreciate your willing to help.😊

I think you should also put 1 in Q3. B) 3 Because you signed the undertaking for you mother in law as a co signer

@@manindersekhon2247 thanks for replying, I thought about it first, but I was confused. If Q3 A ( I placed exactly number of people from IMM 008). The other sections from Q3 B (I, ii, iii, iv) they all say previous undertaking. Although it could also be as Q3 under section “iv” previous undertaking are not yet in effect. But “previous” is confusing me 😂

You can in addition put letter of explanation too to good use mentioning that three individuals are part of current undertakings and that will add clarity if required

Yes, anything that comes on Tax documents yes. You can add comment that you are on EI in Letter of Explanation

Hi ,thanks for the information. However ,i have question regarding the employment history and the gross income. So if the sponser works in 2 different jobs on 2 different timelines in the same year ,the how does that impact the gross income ? Becuse the gross income can be reflected on the NOC or T4 slips from the CRA account on the following year which will include both the jobs . So should i just write the same gross income for both the jobs in that particular year ? Or is that dependent on the timeline ? Gross income is from January 1 -December 31 for the particular Tax year ,correct? For example Company X started Jan 2021 -Ended July 2021 Company Y Stared July 2021 -Ended February 2022 So for 2021 Gross incomes should i put the same value for both the companies?

Hi as I said we too are applicant like you. when you say fund typically it can be liquidated at short notice, I am aware that Checking/Savings/FD etc is considered for this however I am not sure for RRSP if this can be liquidated at short notice(You need not liquidate but that money should be at your disposal and my understanding is RRSP is an asset and I could be wrong) and I personally would keep the money in either savings, GIC funds what is required and add RRSP and other funds to reinforce that I have sufficient money for the parents. Loosing job and finding job in Canada is part of life here so at some point he will get job again and IRCC has asked for 3 years tax statement in the application. Have they anywhere mentioned if any situation changes like job loss this need to be updated? Can you share the reference please.

Here's how: Primary Sponsor: You can list yourself as the primary sponsor. Ensure that you have filed your taxes and have your Notice of Assessment (NOA), even if you don't have an income. It’s a good practice. Co-signer: Your husband, as the co-signer, must show that he meets the minimum income requirement as outlined in the official documents. Forms: Complete the sponsorship application and have your husband fill out the co-signer section. Documentation: Provide proof of your husband's income, such as tax returns and pay stubs. As long as your husband's income meets the requirements, your application should be acceptable. You can also include a detailed letter of explanation if necessary. This is just what I would do in your situation. I hope it helps!

Hi sorry I don't have answer to this question. You may have to do little research if grants come under income. Let me see If I can find some reliable answer. For 2024 tax filing will happen next year so again not sure if you can add this here. With your husbands as cosigner having a decent salary what stops you form using his income for evaluation and letter of explanation? Will comment if I find something from an expert.

for PGP 2024 , what shoud be uploaded in ** Birth certificate (required ) - Box ? if birth certificate not available ? because as per box only birth certificate should be upload, you can't leave empty because it is "required" box, submit button won't active till you upload "something" in the box , i have affidavit for birth as well other supporting documets, those are not "actual birth certificate" which is uploaded in "supporting document" section, can you please help/explain what need to be upload in "required" upload box , if actual document is not available ? thanks in advance.

you can upload passport as it has DOB and use letter of explanation and add the affidavit in this letter of explanation, give as much as detail here. It will be take care. We did the same and no issues till date
