I would go the supplement route if I could afford it. But my income is too low. I really can't even afford part B. But I found a MA that has a part B give back ($125). coverage will be minimal. One question I have is: who services the policies once an agent signs you up? When you have a claim, do you go straight to the company or through your agent?

Claims go through the insurance company. An agent can help be your liason if there are issues, but all claims go through the insurance company. Hope that helps!

37683 is our possible retirement location, we currently live in 01073... what is a current plan G high deductible premium...even a ball park number.... I keep telling my husband it matters where we retire. I'm guessing it's significantly lower in Tennessee than Massachusetts.

"Participating with Medicare" should be clarified as Medicare being a more broadly based preferred provider organization (PPO).

Medicare Advantage is better when u have Extra Help or Low Income Subsidy.
