FILLING My Warehouse With SMOKE *First Start Of My COPART Audi A6*

I bought this 2011 Audi A6 from Eli who picked it up at Copart with a CLEAN TITLE. Today he's back for the first start either of us have ever heard from the car! I swapped in a replacement drop out engine from ‪@JJAutoWrecking‬ and today is all about finishing that swap up and trying to start it. As you would expect with wasn't without hiccups, but we got it knocked out and created the worlds biggest supercharged low-lying fog machine! It will be for sale soon and should bring more than double what I paid.

I used to be an assistant manager at an O'Reilly, more than likely at this point he has a commercial account with his local store which will get him discounted parts. Also with him being in there so often yeah they'll definitely cut him breaks on stuff, I used to do it for some of our accounts all the time. I'd let most of them use our computers too, honestly with our turnover rate at that specific location they knew the parts system better than most of our employees lol

I could be wrong but as a mechanic I've had a few severe head gaskets burning off and quite a few popped cooling lines and every thing within 60 ft even outside was absolutely soaked with oily coolant residue. And he's got some awfully expensive speakers etc in there .let's hope it's okay.. comment wasn't meant as cynical just as an ohhh no I hope he considered that before continuing to run it. Hopefully it's outdoor rated and sealed equipment..or at least not affected by it.

Motul oil is the best. Doesn't burn, had plenty of life left in it after doing a UOA after 15,000kms and keeps the motor like new. My friend tried it in his BMW 550i with the notorious oil burning N63 V8 and he can go the entire oil change interval without having to add oil.

$70. for the hose at O'Reilly's.......$27.-$42. from RockAuto, etc. All the brick and mortar stores are way high for hoses and belts. You really pay for the convenience of being local.

My van was little used for a long time and it took weeks before I ran it enough to bake all of the moisture out of the cat on it. And that was just condensation from sitting sometimes years at a stretch. The cats on that are smaller, but I wouldn't be surprised if it needs to be run a couple hundred miles to fully clear out.

I have same issue with thick. White smoke... After replacing engine with a used one on great shape.... I thought I had. Headgasket issue or warped head... and remove engine twice alldeady.... 😢 Watching the video make me realized that the previous engine was hidroledck and blew a piston.... So I can think of having some left over coolant on the exhaust maybe...... Mmmm🤔

16:29 The transmission is intimately linked with the engine. Thus, transmission codes when the engine went through what it did, is pretty normal. Congratulations on getting this Audi working again. To be honest, I dislike all VolksWagen group products, because they overcomplicate things, while also hiding many of the instructions / advices on how to repair some systems. Cheers from Portugal.
