That was brutal to watch. All i have from this game was elevated heart beat that lasted for an hour after the game finished. If you have Carson Beck at Qb, moving the ball and scoring should not be such a problem.

Thanks for making this! I'm guessing you guys do this for each game(?) So I'll definitely have to watch more in the future. Lots of take aways here. One thing is definitely noticed Delp missing blocks.. That's alarming from our starting TE. Go dawgs. Hard faught game to remain undefeated and I'm sure our offense will be better going forward

On a number of plays, it took two from the OL to hold back Deone Walker, which left another DL uncovered and free to pressure Beck or collect a TFL.

Bobo's entire scheme depends on the run. If the run isn't working the playbook gets very limited. Also, Carson was seeing ghosts the entire game. Credit to UK's defensive gameplan.
@DarthJaynusАй бұрын
Agree with the last two points but I’d just say that most Offensive Coordinators are going to struggle if an entire half of the offense isn’t working. It’s not Bobos fault that the OLine couldn’t run block although there are a lot of other things that are his fault. Any playbook gets limited if you can’t call run plays that are effective themselves or effectively set up play action
@bascardigan7935Ай бұрын
But Aaron Murray was under Bobo and he leads the sec in passing yards in the SEC all time. UGA under Bobo has thrown the ball contrary to popular belief.
@mikehataway4126Ай бұрын
You’re spot on. They have to be able to run the ball for their offense to click and Bobo can’t make the o line block.
@kyserthompsonАй бұрын
Solid work per usual. Two observations and one question: Kentucky DL is solid *and* our OL didn’t show up Saturday night. They had an off night against an opponent they didn’t respect (I’m guessing). Tate injury didn’t help. Very big on OL (even Morris and Freeling if he can stay over his feet) so my unpopular opinion is that we’ll be fine on OL with Tate out. Something was up with Carsonand I’m blaming his dumb single white leg sleeve. The only other time he’s worn that? Bama in SECCG. True story. Someone tell him to stop. Also, I don’t know jack but I think he was in his head and wanting to play like a Heisman candidate, got roughed up on first series, and had the whole “blow for blow” thing in his head and it was sorta prophetic for them. Prediction against Bama: Beck accounts for 3 tuds, throws for 250+ and runs for 30+. You heard it here first 😮 Q: Brent can please weigh in on the Bobo complaints. Our “fans” love to b*tch abt how bad he is but I don’t see it. Seems to be a scapegoat for a fan base that can’t get over the Goff and Richt years.
@BrentRollinsPhDАй бұрын
My only complaint is you can never have too much play-action. They are at around 36% right now....can still use it more. It helps everything on your offense....WRs and especially OL.
@wmtaylor2466Ай бұрын
Question! Why don’t our gunners on punt plays try to catch the ball in the air near the opponent goal line ? On the last punt with 18 seconds left the gunners ran and stood on the goal line waiting to catch a bounce instead of just catching it! Thus the ball bounced into the end zone
@barretthart5603Ай бұрын
100% .... Oval ball falling from 50ft in the air. What could go wrong? It's like saying we'd rather take a 1 in 10 chance of getting the ball on the one rather than just pinning on the 5. It's not like we won't get some on the one or two just by catching it in the air.
@jtugg384Ай бұрын
Stop the RPOs, use less tight ends and 12 personnel. Replace green with freeling, more plays under center. We should have 3-4 wide outs out there with our offensive line. More space to run and more play action passing.

@TheRayfield77Ай бұрын
I disagree with your take that it was absolutely wrong for Stoops to punt it at the end of the 4th. This was a defensive, field position game. UK's defense had been great all night. Plus if they fail (which was likely, as UGA's defense had been great all night), they give the ball to UGA mid field. A FG from us made it a 2 score game and it was over. Either decision was tough. But it made sense to me for them to punt. I thought it gave them the best chance.

The second Bobo feels mildly uncomfortable. Here is his play book: Off tackle run left Off tackle run right Draw (if it's 4 or less yards on 3rd) Flat pass (if it's 4+ yards on 3rd) Punt. Typically in that order. Been that way for years, especially our Bama losses under CMR, Bobo just pissed down his leg. UGA talant can keep it competitive generally, or like last year have enough super stars they keep his flaws hidden.

You can’t convince me that Bobo isn’t the problem. He’s too predictable. To conservative. Too scared. He doesn’t let our 5 star first round QB throw the ball until crunch time and even then, half the time it’s pretty predictable unless our WR’s make great plays. I understand he’s a UGA legend that Kirby loves but he’s got to go.
@Tankb23Ай бұрын
Beck missed open guys deep, and last year he struggled with the deep ball. At this point I think Bobo realizes Beck doesn’t throw deep so minimizes it as much as he can. Also Beck was a 4 star

How good of an athlete you have to be to pull the ball and have no Kentucky defender within 10 yards of you? Kentucky safeties stayed in the box all night long, because Beck don’t have the GUTS to pull the ball and run in open field. Some of those times he handed the ball off, there was no Kentucky player in sight.
@christopheroneil266Ай бұрын
He is not lying. I won't go as far as to say Beck is trash but is seen so many plays that he could have pulled the ball and got a first down it was ridiculous. If that happened then the entire defensive strategy would have changed. This is by far the worst game that I have seen Kirby coach and if it is not cleaned up we will lose 4 games this year easily. All 4 of those team have way better offenses than this trash Kentucky team
@geraldos9094Ай бұрын
@@thaidawg9231 Beck dropped from 1st round to 3rd round in one game. NFL teams want QBs that can make plays. Look at last year draft, ALL playmakers at QB. Jalen, Nix, Caleb are all first year starters.
