I was watching this game and I thought the Colts were so stupid. I thought they shud have just lined up in base and ran zone or if they were going to stay in nickel they shud have manned up and put 8 in the box and forced Malik to beat them with his arm. I have liked Malik since he second preseason and he has improved every year. He still has issues throwing over guys on intermediate throws but ever since his first start he has shown that the league isnt too big for him and he wasnt going to be not executing the plays or missing wide open screens. Colts gameplan every week shud be like the Packers but with deep play action throws to get guys wide open for AR.

I really appreciate you guys breaking this down. I was hoping you would. We earned the L so I offer this as an explanation not an excuse: Our secondary had injuries to starters on top of already being suspect and our run defense depends on Deforest Buckner being a beast. I honestly thought with DeFo coming in dinged up and leaving the game (has since been put on IR) the game was going to be on our offense to keep up with Green Bay scoring. Silver lining for our D is at least they didn't get over 20. Full on copium at least Ant is getting live reps. 😟😟

Your defense is decimated. Buckner was the only guy left who could wreck plays, but he didnt make it to the end of the game. It does make me wonder how these plays would have worked against a better front 7.

I remember he did that exact thing against the Williams Wall only he passed. He ran like 1 running play the whole game. His philosophy was why bother. Vikings were confused and we lost. Haha
