The NHL changed their seeding like 10 years ago and its terrible. Imagine taking a top 2 or 3 seed and forcing them to play each other in the first round. Stupid... If the NFL wants more meaningful games you need to have best record mean something so all teams are still olaying for seeding in week 17/18.
