Film Noir 'Lady Luck'

This is a short I created as homework for a cinematography course with Film Oxford. It was my first time preparing a set, lighting and directing a short. It was a great learning curve and it also highlights the want for better sound recording in the future. I want to give a massive thanks to my girlfriend Andrea for being my femme fatale.

Thanks bro! It was really fun to make. I must make more little shorts like this in the future. I did have plans of getting a tonne of genres and script ideas in a bowl and then once ever 2 weeks pick and create. 🙌🙌🙌

Thank you😊. I'm really want to try and keep this kind of project idea running after the course. Making shorts that get you well outside of your comfort zone really put you in a place of learning. It's such a shame that my girlfriend isn't confident another for me to have used the clip I mentioned with the Hollywood style lighting. She looked fabulous in it. Either way she stole the show. Next week's project sure is going to be challenging.🤣😊👍

Appreciate the words bro🙌🙌🙌. There's a few things I'm not hundred percent happy with, I would have loved to have some mics so the audio was on point and I would have liked to spend more time on the dialogue itself but overall it come out pretty good for my first attempt at anything on this level. 🙌🙌🙌🤜🍍🤛💪
