I recall a passing reference made in print by critic Jonathan Rosenbaum from which one could infer that even that Snow champion was alienated by this reportedly expansive and sprawling avant-garde epic. It looks to be the most densely populated film Snow had made up to that point, and the online cast listing is certainly intriguing, including such surprising names as Chantal Akerman, Peter Cook, and Jessica Harper. I admit that I respect Snow's work more than I actually enjoy it (I truly find 'Wavelength', still his single most famous film, excruciating at times), but I would certainly be curious to give this ambitious later effort a look and listen given the opportunity.
