100% agree. These 3 are the best work from the director, sadly very unknown

Refn has become one of my favorite directors throughout the years. I definitely recommend this trilogy. The idea of each film taking the perspective of a different character introduced in the first film is genius. The first film serves as sort of a world building intro to the underworld through Frank's eyes. Part 2 shows why Tonny is the way he is. It is probably the more emotional of the 3 as you see the dysfunctional relationship he has with his father. Part 3 shows the day to day life of Milo and takes the Goodfellas' ugly side of a criminal life to greater detail. These films all show the ugliness seen in the European crimeworld.

Unfortunately i found his 2 tv shows "Too old to die young" and the new netflix show just too long and slow. There are some scenes dialogues and pictures that are genius. But you wish there would be a producer telling him to go one step closer to the audience. The surreal slow dialogues there drives me crazy.

Sorry I don't want to talk back. But error? I remember seeing this and feeling like I was there. (Epic work) Not knowing a word said. I had swedish subtitles and didn't know a word of danish or swedish. Movie is a great to see. Thanks for the review. Recommended

Glad you are enjoying the videos. I usually go off recommendations and surprisingly no one has ever requested one. Like pretty much all his films with his latest and moonrise kingdom being my favorites.

Pusher 1 and 3, particularly 3 with zlatko, are some of my favorite foreign movies. I have really come to love mads mikkelsen in his other works, not a huge fan of tonny but still liked his acting
