I am calling BS on Hondo's podcast. He kept blaming "His coaches" but would not say who the coaches were. After watching a few film breakdowns I am not looking forward to Getsy's anemic offense. Only time will tell.

I dont even know, there had to be better options than a coordinator that ran a offense that had receivers consistently running the same routes on the same side of the field, along with all the QB sneaks on 4th and 1. He is boring. If it wasn’t on him, we will soon learn. I just want to see the Raiders relevant again.

I heard that after the packers let him go the first time, Rodgers’s and Adams lobbied for him to come back and that he became a big part of the offensive scheme without being the OC. No OC would have 2 in routes going in the same spot. Not even in high school. That was obviously a mistake by one of the WRs. Im sure during the many interviews they had with Getsy, they had him explain himself for all the bad calls. Apparently they liked the explanation enough to hire him.

Bo Nix or JJ McCarthy will fit perfectly in Getsy's offense . Both are athletic and very accurate with the underneath throws and can make the deep throws when needed

The receivers running to the same area is likely because one of the receivers ran the wrong route. I can't imagine anybody designing plays like that.

Agreed 100 percent. He has the arm and processes way faster then fields. Is WAAAAAAAAY more accurate and not afraid to take shots. The more I see things like this the more I see them building around AOC while drafting a rookie maybe 2nd to 5th round or taking a shot with Russell Wilson who would run those offense to perfection.

I think people don’t realize that O’Connell didn’t get first team reps really until he was put in to start. Hoyer was getting the reps until Garoppolo came back. Those reps are important for a rookie. If they fix the o line, I wouldn’t mind them giving O’Connell a shot.

We can only hope that the problems with receivers being in the same area was a product of the players lack of understanding with the difficulty of the system. Hopefully Hue can help Getsy simplify things a bit, and more creative play calling

Good Breakdown. The spacing in design can be fixed. I expect him to utilize all the weapons the Raiders have on offense. Could Joe Milton or Bo Nix be the qb the Raiders target? I like Fields too but too many brain lapses that cost possessions. Overall I’m excited to see the product in 2024.

I'm back here watching this video after davante Adams said that getsy scheme is a great one. Adams is often wrong but as long as the star is happy I'm happy. I bet it's real hard to run an offense when you don't have a quarterback that can throw accurately.

Looked to me that the WR are asked to read and adjust the route. Pretty sure the end zone play was the wr to his left was supposed to go under the othe WR. You had a WR break out instead of up the seem vs split safety. Taking a deep shots on 2nd and short to medium makes sense. Smarter WR/QB combo who can be on the same page will be huge.

One thing ive learned over the years talking to other fans of other teams no matter how good or bad or in between that team may be .....we ALL have complaints about PLAY CALLING every week , theres no perfect OC / DC , yes there are levels but players make coordinators the better the personnel the better the coach looks , if you have limited talent especially at the QB position the playbook will be limited , if you have pro bowlers all over the field the playbook expands .....we need a QB thats what im concerned about .

Jesus i took him 9 weeks to finally call play action and RPOs. He threw Fields under the bus in interviews while he was Injured too.
