I'm not a patriots fan but im rooting for this kid after the way he was trashed on draft night. Glad to see him improving during the second half

It didn’t stop on draft night. The draft analysis set the tone. Local media picked up that narrative and ran with it. They continue to trash him to this day, despite having an overall solid rookie year for a young guy getting tossed in the fire. I expect great things from him

@@LALakersReport Boston media is so toxic. When Brady was here they wanted Garoppollo. Since Brady left, they want Belichick fired. It’s unreal. The patriots won 77% of their games and six championships in 9 Super Bowl appearances, and the media wants to fire Belichick and start something called Bailey Zappe. No one in Boston is happy unless they’re miserable. Probably myself included, but at least I’m somewhat reasonable. We have had unprecedented success in sports for two decades straight and people still act like the franchises haven’t done anything.

I wish cole strange was allowed to confront these grown men on camera

Seeing mcvay laugh at the pick was pretty bad. Yikes. I hope he plays better this year.

Worthy of the first round pick he was! Good job young man! With a double tight end offense that depends on pulling guards, he WILL be a star this season. Zone runs!!

I really wanted to see a breakdown of how he plays. I just couldn't believe BB would wiff entirely on an O lineman.

He did this with Matt Patricia as his O-line coach by the way. Imagine what he can do with some real coaching

Watching Cole Strange get ripped in two by Miami right now and I’m a pats fan. He got beat 3 times, and called for a penalty. Absolute waste of a pick. He’ll be a back up on a team. Way to draft Bill.

On that first rep he drops that right hand under and hinges the gate. Bakes him to maintain leverage and does not let the 2i extend his arms to keep his gap integerity. Then great to next to the next level.

And they will have better Coaching at OC and O-line so that should also help him

I hope the fella plays well. However, i couldn't take a guard in the first round. If i did he'd have to be Logan mankins or something close to that. Too many elite athletes still on the board.

He was drafted for being an athletic technician, however, physically he is still quite underdeveloped for an NFL level. If he gain bring up his weight under NFL strength and diet program, he should take that athleticism and technique to a new level. Imo he was certainly below average this year, but demonstrated all the traits he was drafted for. Once he gets bigger and stronger he will be perennial pro bowler

He struggled when Andrews got injired. Otherwise he wasnt the problem.
@johnmoran4469 Жыл бұрын
He played better as the year went on. Dominant? No. Maybe in time he will be, he plays well on the move buy he's not there yet. His biggest problem was getting locked up and overpowered. If he gets stronger, he can be as good as you are saying he is. He needs to be better, and I think he will be.

The problem with the zone run is that with all the lateral movements they only get five yards because they don't have that exclusive rb who can break a 15 yard run, it's easier to just run gap and get 7-8 vertical yards
@tps1020 Жыл бұрын
Stevenson is one of the best RB's averaging 5 yds a carry
@Kittonwy Жыл бұрын
@@tps1020 stevenson has quick feet but he's not 4.3 explosive, he's built more for gap than wide zone, which needs a rb that can make one cut and explode through the hole.

I mean,this is what hes supposed to do,and its cmendable. But there is so much bad tape on him as well. Watch him kill us at tge end of the vikings game completely swinging and missing. Lets hope he takes a step in the right direction. We need him.
