He's absolutely got potential, and athleticism, but he needs to improve on his quickness and leverage, and he needs to develop his arsenal of moves: bull rush, rip, swim, spin, chop, and club. What i do like seeing in this year's Packers defense is that as the season has progressed, they have improved in their physicality, their aggression, and gang tackling.
@williamhermann66352 күн бұрын
Theyre playing much faster now and I think thats mostly just do to becoming more comfortable with Hafley's scheme. Switching from 3-4 to 4-3 is a big deal especially when you consider they didnt really add anyone in the front 7 besides Cooper and Hopper. Usually when teams switch they'll add guys who fit that defense like when they drafted Clay Mathews and BJ Raji for Dom Capers' 3-4. The Packers just bet on the talent and versatility of the guys they had and its starting to pay off. Just took some time.

i think u are asking for too much. he is too big and powerful, and thats his game style and its fine. not everyone can be a myles garret that can beat u w speed and power. some people only got power, bull rush, chop and club. Dont expect a consistent swim or spin from lvn. its like asking brian burns to develop a bull rush. its just not their style

@TheDevilsKnot2 күн бұрын
I was convinced on LVN when he chased down Justin Fields and threw him out of bounds in the first game of his career. This is his 3rd defense in 3 years, he's only gonna get better. The future is bright for LVN. Go Pack Go.
@mikedorsey9660Күн бұрын
He may develop but he's not playing like a #1 draft pick, some people take a few years, this may be LVN catagory. He needs to take it up another notch in the playoffs & definitely be a force next season.

You’re the first person I’ve heard say the Packers have arguably the best defensive line in football. All season long the packers fans and packer podcasters on KZbin have been complaining about lack of pass rush and not stopping g the run when needed. Detroit was 8 for 9 against the packers on 4th and short this season

Well I think getting adjusted to the scheme has been the main thing. I think they’re comfortable now and I think the last few weeks have shown that. But we’ll see next week.

@dubyajay7860 What im saying is hes getting more reps with the starting d-line, not just the clean up reps with the 2nd wave of guys they bring in. Hes getting some reps across from Gary and Clark (who both get double teamed a ton) and hes taking advantage of the 1 on 1s. PS dont be such a boner.
