Good vid. We've been spoiled with having an HOF quarterback for nearly 2 decades. Some of us remember the Steeler's QB's of the 80's and 90's and thus have a little perspective. People need to give the dude some time to develop. Will he be an HOF'er? Maybe not, but I think he can be a solid QB. Everyone's like 'GOAT or go home' these days. You have to learn to settle sometimes in life lol...

@@theatricalityanddeception You said he hasn't improved and is maybe slightly worse. I pointed out that he's improved compared to his stats last year. Again, those improvements are admittedly small. At least he is not losing possessions, which is nice and helps complement a defense that is capable of generating turnovers. I think one of the strengths of the team is that we have a +10 in turnover differential. Tomlin knows that's important and has instilled that in everyone, Kenny the most. That being said, I'd like to see a little more risk and depth in Kenny's game, I think it's time to mix up his game a little better.

He doesn’t lose the team games but he does win games in the clutch when his team really needs it . Sometimes I believe he tries to be too perfect . I love that since Canada has been on the sideline they do a good job of picking up first downs and keeping the offense on schedule. Our offense isnt designed to be great passing offense scheme wise so I know the passing stuff won’t ever be spectacular but he can be solid . I'd prefer they take care of business throughout an entire game instead of relying on the coinflip of "clutchness" at the end. And yea, it's a coinflip, sometimes you'll see heads come up 10 times in a row. That's what we're seeing now, 6-0 in 1-possession games, could easily be 0-6, 3-3, etc. through those games. it doesn't feel sustainable. W/L record feels like a facade. It has felt better overall the last two games, but it's not like they've faced real quality teams. Either way, I hope they can get it going a little more consistently before the playoffs. Otherwise, it might be a short trip. They don't have to be a premier offense, but they need to hit middle of the road for any real chance.

This current team reminds me of the Steelers of the 70's and 80's with Terry Bradshaw. I was a kid and watched that team go to 4 Super Bowls and win them all. We did it with 2 great receivers, Swan and Stallworth and a bruising running game. And of course The Steel Curtain. Bradshaw, like Pickett, was no Joe Montana but that doesn't matter. As a team, we have Super Bowl contender right now. Let's Go Steelers,

No, you are stunningly wrong. There is a mountain of difference between the Super Bowl champion teams of the '70s and this load of horse manure they are trotting on the field now. My God, I'm embarrassed to even have to explain this. Those '70s teams had generationally stellar defenses. Paradoxically, the '76 Steeler D is like the best/2nd best of all time, but they didn't win a Super Bowl, but that is another discussion. In any case, those defenses and the running game were MONSTERS and, for '75 and especially '74, had to MAKE UP for the stunning deficiencies of Bradshaw, who sucked beyond all recognition, kind of like Kenny now. The defense and running game of this '23 team aren't even in the same stadium as those team. I mean, are you really that biased to think that they are that good?

You really are crazy about the fact he missed a WIDE OPEN Conner Heyward and instead threw to a perfectly covered Johnson? That could've been just as easily an interception as it was interference. You got me questioning your judgement bruh. He misses at least 2 wide open players a week. And by wide open, I mean TD wide open. Only things he deserves credit for are low scoring games, playing so bad that he is saving Canada's job, and being lucky enough to be 6 and 3 in spite of it.

So go back and view the preseason games. What had changed? Imo Kenny looks stiff and unconfident compared to then. He was making better reads and throwing the ball more accurate. Imo he looks afraid to make a mistake and trying too hard. Maybe the rib injury is affecting accuracy. Either way it looks completely different. I support Kenny and don't wish to tear him apart. Plenty of 1st round pick QBs wash out quick, partly because the fan base roasts them over a fire. I'm all for increasing competition at the position next year. I'd be fine if they even took another QB early. It's that important of a position. For this year, we can continue to btch about it or focus on improvement. We get a full year to evaluate Kenny as Trubisky is careless with the football and not winning anything. It's ok to criticism his performance but it's wise to support him nonetheless

People got to understand, Kenny's not losing the game , he protect the ball. He throw to the receiver, but if it's an off target throw, during a moment he's forcing it, he'll put it farther to the off shoulder, opposite of the offender, for a hard to catch for the receiver, but away from the defender to avoid a pick off, and it happens every now and then, an interception.

He struggles to read the defense & resorts to locking onto primary too long then bailing to checkdown. He does not go thru his progressions. His helmet barely moved last game. The team is missing out on a lot of gains in the passing game bcuz of his inability to be efficiently decisive & intelligent with ball distribution.
