JT Money that’s ONE week in the last 2 years, playing against one of the better defenses in the league. He’s throwing to guys like Jamison Chowder, Chris Hogan (who hasn’t produced outside of Tom Brady), Demaryius Thomas (Who hasn’t produced since 2015), Josh Malone and Braxton Berrios. The ONLY semi-good receiver he played with was Robby Anderson who got over paid by the Panthers. Le’Veon Bell can’t stay healthy and it was clear he only wanted his money, and the ONLY good pro bowl caliber player they had was on the defensive side of the ball, and they traded him. The organization is terrible which goes back to original point: Darold got drafted to a trash organization, saddled with a trash head coach, and they’re ruining his career before it even starts.

That was a very good analysis, Gase is clearly out of his league, literally. I'm quite certain the Packers, my fav, as well as other teams, would bury the Jets, and it's a shame; there's talent on that team and players who would really prefer winning which Gate's isn't giving them the opportunity to do. He's an avatar of the Peter Principle, elevated beyond his level of competence. I'm grateful to be a Packer fan, especially today, so I feel for the Jets fans. My first game was in 1957 and there have been a lot of peaks and long lonesome valleys since then. The Jets will be back, they've already canned Gase, and a time will come when I won't feel quite so benevolent towards them; probably sooner than I care to think about.

Look at Tannehill. He was bad with Gase as his coach, but has thrived in TEN. Players play the game, but coaches also influence the game. Unless they're a Manning, but those "player-coaches" are rare. But if a coach isn't calling plays to get WRs in routes that beat coverages, isn't making adjustments, his players pay the price.

That first play where Bell fell down, it looked like he was going for a quick slant to the hole that the MLB just left. It would have been a tight window, but I think Darnold could have actually picked up the first down on that play if Bell is upright and makes the catch.

Nah dude your're 100% right. 90% of why the Jets are failing is because Gase refuses to scheme around his players instead he tries to force them to fit his scheme. He refused to use Leveon Bell when he was an obvious asset in the running and passing game that would have helped taking pressure off Sam but last season it took him eight weeks to figure out to give Sam a check down on longer developing routes. He should have been fired after the Patriots game when they got blow out 33-0 there were endless mistakes and terrible play calling. Bill essentially didn't leave his cover 0 look the entire game and since Sam isn't allowed to check out of a play at the line (which is criminal and only hurts his development in my opinion) Bill just sent the dogs every play and Sam got killed. Gase refused to run short passing concepts Bill was seen actually laughing on the sidelines because Gase is so incompetent

Crazy thing- He was offensive coordinator for Denver in 2013, which, by stats is the highest scoring offense of all time. And that’s when everybody though he was mastermind, but he did have- Peyton Manning, Wes welker and demaryius thomas. But since he had worse players with the jets, it’s not working as good.

I have nothing against Adam Gase as I’m a Cardinals fan, but the Jets simply need to fire him as a head coach this upcoming offseason. Gase may be a great offensive coordinator but he is a mediocre and horrible head coach. The Jets need to get a new head coach and coaching staff that will maximize Sam Darnold, the offense and defense’s full potential and talent and that is not happening right now with Gase. As with the whole team, Sam Darnold's talent and potential is being wasted and this needs to change if the Jets want a winning culture. The Jets made the right move and took a step in the right direction by hiring Joe Douglas, who is proving to be a great general manager and they need to take another step by getting rid of Adam Gase and getting a head coach that wants to win and bring a winning culture to the Jets. It hurts to see a team being poorly managed and coached.

Adam should be having those wideouts do some crossing routes if Buffalo runs a single high safety the entire time and send your speediest guy over the top and force that lone safety to decide if he wants to be burned over the top or leave the corner to fend for himself underneath. This is why I can't believe they let Robby Anderson go. Unless they somehow manage to establish a solid run game, they shouldn't even bother with play-action. They should be lining up in shotgun with a single back and then running draw plays as a change of pace when they manage to get Darnold into a rhythm. That offensive line isn't good enough to ground n' pound from the start.
