What do you mean "if he can get the simple stuff down?" Oh, he's got the difficult stuff down just not the simple stuff...😐. What like processing defense formations and coverage? Or going through his progressions? Did you see the video "20 minutes of Caleb Williams Passing from the pocket?" He proved a lot in college. He'll have more time to throw the ball in Chicago than he did at USC. He will have more open WR's in Chicago than he did at USC. From viewing his gameplay he just needs to throw the ball to the sideline and not force plays, sometimes slide on his runs, don't take the hits and don't fumble.

You lost me at Zach Wilson! Bears fan here, and I believe in Caleb Williams! Really, nothing more to say about Caleb. But, Zach Wilson, if you really watched the tape and looked at all of the metrics and data, there were significant red flags! You saw the classic good qb get away with things because everything around him was excellent, for his competition at least. So, he faces better players on a team that isn't that good at the nfl level, which is normal for a team selected no.2 overall, and he struggled. For some, they have skills they can use to find success, like arm strength, pocket awareness, and anticipation. Zach doesn't have either because he didn't need it.

reggie bush use to switch sides of the field in college but in the nfl that all changed it was hard for him to do that in nfl all the time my point is what he does in college doesn't mean he will be able to do it in the nfl level the nfl level is so much higher then the college level when comes to skill levels on defense linemen or defenses in general you can guess he might be next patrick maholms but till he plays we will never know that till then

Im going to be real with you G. kid is going to be ass the first 2 years. wish we could sit him for a year or two ,but nope the bears are a joke of an organization. kids numbers are horrendous. when it comes to throwing under pressure, holding on to the ball and fumbles. I do agree he has potential to be a good passing QB ,but NFL defense's are way better then college. so he has to be eased into the game not be a day one starter. But who knows only time will tell.
