People are becoming more and more impatient for WRs to breakout. If you knew anything about Q coming out of college it's that he would need time to develop

@@lovedparknot really their window is basically as long as Justin Herbert is their QB. The team is hopefully one year away if they draft awesome again. Tom Telesco kinda left the team with no depth.

@@damian.739no they are not, they have next to no playoff experience as a team. They are not close to winning a Super Bowl 😂

@@joshuahodge8804 I don’t think playoff experience matters as much in football. Also if this off-season works out and there off-season next year is really good the team could shape up fast. They have talented players on the team desperately need wrs and depth overall but it could turn around fast.

It would be great if QJ improves so he can be a well rounded player. While he is working on the things he is lacking you need to use him in a similar way he was used in college. It was widely known that he did not have a complete game so if you want solid production from him in the first two years of being in the NFL you should have and should now cater to his strengths while he gets better at other things that will make him more versatile and well rounded.

I loved his physicality and athleticism, but I felt like he was just never a hands catcher in college. Everything was a body catch or bobbled

As much as i believe it was an effort issue, it cant go without notice that after Mike Williams went down in week 3 they just tried to plug and play QJ there when that is very clearly not his skill set. Q needs to be on slants, screens, jet sweeps, plays where he can get the ball in his hands and make things happen. He plays too small to be a jump ball contested catch guy. I truly believe it was partially a matter of how he was used that lead to his struggles in year 1. Hopefully with the addition of guys like brenden rice and josh palmer becoming more of a WR1 he will have the opportunity to be used more to his strengths

mike williams' rookie year was not his best one either. not comparing him to mike dub, but not all rookie wr's are good from the start. qj will get better as time goes on.

He's a lazy receiver, who is not trying. Has no hands, is and always will be a body catcher. If he hasn't learned to us his hands by now he never will.

How do you know he's lazy? He wouldn't be in the league if he was lazy.

Catching with the body is not always a bad thing. Look at Kennan Allen’s crossing routes. Always catching with the body. It’s a necessary skill for certain routes
