Quentin Johnston in his interview talked about his drops, route running, and hopeful breakout in year 2 with the Los Angeles Chargers. Josh Palmer, Ladd McConkey, and Sanjay Lal will all have an impact in the Chargers WR room.
Zach Heins had a great day of practice yesterday and so did Isaiah Spiller. Justin Herbert obviously played great as well and check out Daniel Popper of The Athletic's article to find out more about Daiyan Henley, Derwin James, and Kimani Vidal!
On Kay Adams show Chris Harris said Justin Herbert isn't Clutch like Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, and the Elite Quarterbacks in the NFL. I give you the full film breakdown and highlights as to why Justin Herbert IS clutch and elite...
Tony Jefferson is a Safety/Cornerback/Linebacker on the Arizona Cardinals and Baltimore Ravens for most of his NFL career but last played with the New York Giants in 2022. He'll come in and compete for a safety spot in the Chargers minicamp.
Daiyan Henley was the 3rd round pick in the 2023 draft for the Chargers and this year the Chargers drafted Junior Colson in the 3rd round. Will Jesse Minter and Jim Harbaugh use Daiyan Henley in a way for him to breakout in year 2?
Hayden Hurst had some highlights at OTAs this week for the Chargers and Jim Harbaugh must be taking notice of this.
Breaking news the Los Angeles Chargers signed Alex Leatherwood the Las Vegas Raiders first round pick in 2021. The LT out of Alabama will give the chargers OL help and competition for Trey Pipkins and Jamaree Salyer at the RG and RT spots.
Jesse Minter was Mic'd Up at Chargers OTAs before training camp and he kept wanting to be in nickel formation. I thought it would be a good idea to talk about Derwin James, Alohi Gilman, AJ Finley, JT Woods, Akeem Dent, Jalyn Phillips, and the battle at the SS and FS positions for the Chargers in training camp and preseason.
Chargers Day 1 of OTAs has begun and here are all the highlights and takeaways you need to know. Asante Samuel Jr., Junior Colson, Ladd McConkey, Kristian Fulton, and Joe Alt are all important guys to note.
The Chargers signed 21 UDFA after the 2024 NFL Draft and they were: Karsen Barnhart, Casey Bauman, Luke Benson, Akeem Dent, Jaelen Gill, Thomas Harper, Zach Heins, Savion Jackson, Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste, Leon Johnson, Jaylen Johnson, Robert Kennedy, Micheal Mason, Tre'Mon Morris-Brash, Tyler McLellan, Willis Patrick, Jalyn Phillips, Zamari Walton, Luquay Washington, Bucky Williams.
The Chargers drafted Joe Alt, Ladd McConkey, Junior Colson, Justin Eboigbe, Tarheeb Still, Cam Hart, Kimani Vidal, Brenden Rice, and Cornelius Johnson.
J.K. Dobbins signs to the Chargers and JK Dobbins signing to the Los Angeles Chargers means more to me than you think. What does this mean for Isaiah Spiller and Elijah Dotson? Will the Chargers draft a RB in the 2024 NFL Draft or in UDFA?
Jim Harbaugh has now officially hired Jesse Minter, Greg Roman, Andy Bischoff, NaVorro Bowman, Marcus Brady, Steve Clinkscale, Shane Day, Mike Devlin, Mike Elston, Chris Gould, Sanjay Lal, Rick Minter, Robert Muschamp, Chris O'Leary, Dylan Roney, Marc Trestman, and Ryan Ficken.

Low. 2/10. And idek. Chark, Ladd, and Palmer are a great trio of receivers. We'll be fine. Too many dropped balls and not aggressive enough

He will have a better year. He confidence is much better and his teammates and coaches are pushing him to succeed not like Brandon Staley having no experience to coach that position. Bolt up ⚡

Great stuff. Love the content. I do remember the contraversey when Mike D ran a 'lazy route' one off-season and everyone freaked out. We'll see. We're all starved for football. Lol. Also, anyone else annoyed at Jason Reed? Writer for boltbeat? I fine with having a skeptical outlook, but he seems to be best friends with Acho or something.

All he has to do is look the ball right INTO his hands. Watching exactly how the ball hits his hands.. and then take off for YAC. We almost never dropped a pass. Watching the ball is not enough - you have to LOOK the ball into the hands. 🎯

QJ struggles when he has to extend his arms for the catch. Further the extension, more likely he drops it. Jump balls at full extension he throws one hand at it with his eyes on the ground/defender. It’s fear and anxiety, not physical talent, he needs to overcome.

really, really and I mean really bad coaching is not an excuse for dropping balls. Everyone had that concern coming out of college. If Telescoe didnt take him he would have gone mid 2nd or 3rd round. Everyone else saw it. I'm hoping for the best for him, but won't be surprised if he lands on the practice squad.

5:28 his biggest problem is laziness in running routes and letting the ball get into his body instead of using his hands. Hence I don't think he will ever be a top receiver. In playing all these years and havnt figured it out by now, he never will. He's gotten by in high-school and college on his size and speed. Those traits alone won't last in the NFL
