So weird how I hear nothing about Lamar’s good performance and nothing about Josh Allen’s bad one but if they were switched they would be a big deal
@falcon137818 сағат бұрын
To be fair the narrative going into this game is that “Lamar struggles against the Steelers every year! How’s he going to beat the odds?” And he proved he could win. Nothing huge, but it’s a solid home win that absolutely should happen because of how good this offense is. On the other hand, the narrative of the leagues media darlings (Bills, Eagles, Chiefs, not Niners anymore tho)so far this year is, “A win is a win! Doesn’t matter how close or bad it is!” And if the Bills nearly lose a game they should absolutely win, then the media will quiet down, and never talk about it.

That 4th qtr pass to Zay, Lamar recognized Minka down 1v1 on Likely, looked to Andrew's, give a signal (most likely to switch routes with Zay) Andrew's mimicked the signal to Zay and bam! Allen is good, but LJ has been doing this all year.

A lot of Lamar's passes seem like their from the matrix. The football literally goes in between a pass rusher arms, over the linebackers' fingertips, and into his recievers' hands. It's unbelievable at times.

Absolutely. It's definitely not close. I don't understand why the media praises Josh Allen so much. The Bills barely beat the Pats and the Ravens (Lamar) destroyed the Bills that the media seemed to forget. And the Chiefs are overrated too

Brock Purdy lead the nfl in nine different metrics last year. Lamar lead in zero metrics. It’s so weird that Ravens fans keep moving the goal posts over this mvp race. Last year, he was dam good but wasn’t anywhere near as good as Purdy but some how he was the mvp? Also he was 15th in passing yards. Maybe ravens fans should just STFU already.
@melaninknowledge365810 сағат бұрын
The context yall love to leave out is Lamar had the best record in the NFL last season. Allen doesn't even have the best record in his conference. Lamar also beat the most teams over 500, and Allen only beaten a couple of good teams this season. Lamar also beat the other MVP candidates when going H2H. Allen got dog walked by one of the MVP candidates. That's what yall love to leave put! So how about you please CTFU.

Last year, Lamar won the MVP simply by outperforming each and every MVP threat & Playoff contenders under the big lights. Jared Goff & Lions 38-6 Geno & Seattle Seahawks 37-3 Joey B & Bengals 34-20 Purdy/Mcaffrey 49ers 33-19 Tua/Cheetah & Fins 56-19 Last year, Every time they brought up a new MVP candidate. Lamar outplayed them massively in the big games. Not to mention, he was doing it making plays out of nothing. This year, he’s doing it with on schedule plays. And a bit of his classic Houdini plays here and there. Ravens fans don’t care for that MVP. We just want respect on our QBs name.
@williamhager8554 сағат бұрын
@ and yet he fell apart against the chiefs. And your argument is stupid. He only put up less than 30 touchdowns all season. So those wins came from a top defense more than some sort of juggernaut offense. Quit flipping the narrative. He couldn’t beat the raiders and browns this year. So by your logic, that fact should keep him from winning it this year.
@KD-bq9joСағат бұрын
@@williamhager855 The Chiefs are the Chiefs. Who else has gotten passed them in the post season lately? Exactly… This is a team game, all 15 other AFC teams couldn’t. The Ravens were close, had a receiver not fumble on the 1yr line or had they not out coached themselves. That’s not my logic, that’s what actual MVP voters who have voices on platforms have actually said. Emmanuel Acho for example. He had a neck and neck tie between Purdy/CMC/Lamar. Then that Christmas night against the 49ers. Lamar smoked em both. Purdy threw 4 picks and CmC didn’t put up his normal big numbers. Plus, I’d take a team loss to the Browns & the Raiders over a combined abysmal loss with a shit performance. 9/30 is a crazy statline for an individual.

The fact that the Steelers were missing four starters on defense made both Derek Henry and Lamar look good. Ogunjobi 's absence plugging those holes , made both of their jobs easier. Missing their starters at defensive backs ... Ditto. Henry only had 65 total yards their first meeting. Yeah the Steelers offense (minus Pickens) didn't shine, but Lamar's 2 and 4 record against them, sure won't help if he has has to face a healthy Steeler team in the playoffs.They still have his number, they just weren't able to capitalize on his turnovers this time around, but they will still rattle him. He has to prove it against a healthy team.
