it was a head scratcher that nobody took him earlier...he is a physical freak...he is to big to guard for someone fast enough to keep up with him and to fast for guys who are big enough...it isnt like he drops so many passes he is useless...fine if he never gets better with the drops then fine play him on 1st and 2nd downs and exploit the mismatches.

I know people want him to be a wr bc of his height but he plays like a vertical/playmaking tight end.. kinda like an engram and pitts kinda deal. He looks like he’s pre good at reading zone coverage as well as getting open in short space. which Kelce is really good at

Howie said he was drafted at WR because he can run every route on the tree and has the rare traits of a true X WR. Howie went on to say that a WR would move to TE because they don’t have the lower body flexion which enables them to make crisp routes, but Wilson has that in spades. Eagles have AJ and Smitty locked up at WR, but after those 2, we have not much depth and nothing signed apast this season outside those 2. So Wilson and Ainias Smith will be our 3 n 4 WR’s for the future.

All of Wilson’s issues can be traced back to the FSU QB. Like none of these throws to an amateur fan like me look very good. Thing is, a receiver can’t control that so his drops are less of a concern then his route running and that as you highlighted is a strength of this young man. To me watching this, he has a pretty good sense of deceleration and he’s willing to be physical to create separation. That physicality as well as utilizing what he has makes me more comfortable in his ability to be a valuable receiver.

Seems to struggle to get separation, but worth the chance at that point in the draft. 4th receiver, goal line guy, or maybe use him like a pass catching TE. Worth a shot I think.

Ran a 4.52 which is basically what guys like Ceedee Lamb and Aiyuk ran plus his 37” vert is 90% in explosiveness. His problem is drops and lack of production and nothing else. Similar to why DK Metcalf fell.

He didn't create separation consistently in college. I see him having a hard time doing so in the NFL, which is going to lead to him having to catch while taking contact, which isn't good for someone who already has some drop issues.

The broncos drafted Bo nix lmao. What QB? Maybe 2 of those 6 QB's that got taken in the first 12 picks will actually be decent. I'm sure you weren't begging for a QB in 2022 when hurts was leading the MVP race until he got injured, but still almost won the SB. Then last season was still in the MVP conversation until the entire team imploded. Gtfo with that and relax dude. I haven't been a huge believer in hurts, but he's proven enough to at least get another chance this year.

Made it to the playoffs I think like 5 times out of the 6 years , won more playoffs games then any QB in their division and the only one to make it to the Super Bowl and do well in the Super Bowl and probably will go back to the Super Bowl
