@@Profeex22I thought Reed was better in his role in 2022. He’s a great fill in guy but also he’s a great box safety. So I can see us playing dime and some 3-3-5. Our defense will be very versatile and with Davis and Carter stuffing the middle we can have that extra safety

@@Profeex22the eagles always take their time easing in new rookies, especially on defense. Unless dejean and Mitchell are clearly better than the others, they’ll start out with rotational snaps

@@Profeex22 I think Reed will still get time, especially when we’re in packages that are mainly DBs. I don’t think he’s a star or anything, but he’s definitely proven to be solid and deserving of a roster spot. I also think we’ll end up having Quinyon and Cooper mainly watching and developing… maybe a small percentage of D snaps. I think we’re betting on their future and giving them both as long as possible to learn from two very experienced veterans in Slay and Bradberry. I can see them getting major time next season and possibly a decent amount after like week 12 or so. (barring injuries) But I do see a bright future for DeJean, Mitchell, CJGJ, Blankenship, and even Sydney Brown. Similar situation with Devin White and Trotter Jr. I think that the only way he gets high snap time would be if he just sorta explodes onto the scene and plays crazy good, otherwise I think it’s a solid year under Devin White as a role model. Overall, I see great potential (much on paper) for our entire team. The D has drastically improved besides losing Fletch, but hopefully the young bucs step up their game. And then for offense it’s the loss of Kelce, but I have a crazy amount of confidence/respect for Stoutland and believe Cam will be up for the job and even have some decent competition in the offseason. As far as skill positions go, we upgraded the DBs big time and locked in AJ and DeVonta. I think we’ll still end up with one of if not the best O line with great backs. As long as Jalen is playing well, we have the roster to go all the way.

People will doubt this, but DeJean was drafted to play primarily outside corner in Fangio’s system. He will take snaps at other positions but he is a corner when Slay is done.

I definitely don’t doubt it. He’s physical, freak athlete, and got good ball skills. Sounds like a Fangio DB to me. All this talk about him being a safety/nickel is solely media hype. He’s got a better RAS than Quinyon for goodness sake.
