Civilization and its future have never been shaped by the dead or by generations yet unborn. Why don’t we want to make the MOAI statues anymore? Why have we lost interest in constructing pyramids at all? Why did all those glorious civilizations lose their power? They were neither slaughtered nor swept away by the scourge of disease. They went out of fashion. They simply fade away. Human habits and customs changed. How much time have we got before ours pass away? What lies underneath each civilization, what is its essence like? Its rituals? Religion? Money and power? What is life about actually, what matters most in life? We have done away with rituals, we mock our own values, we despise our élites. What if now it will be us who go out of fashion? All those hackneyed phrases like global warming, carbon dioxide or El Niño are only aftermaths. Yet, there is some hope. The future is being formed by the living. Who will be making decisions about our future then? The time has come to know more about it all.
