This is exactly the inspiration I’ve been looking for! Love that you embrace the iPhone, I agree it is absolutely the personal camera of our time. Have you seen the work of Scott Barely? His films are shot on iPhone, but processed extensively until they almost decompose into texture, color, and mostly darkness. An amazing experience.

i really enjoyed this, these two videos on film theory are very important. personally, if you ever re-upload this, i’d like the first 12 minutes to exist on their own & for the exercise to be a separate video. i think it’d be a better resource that way. idk if you’re still making videos, but i’m holding out hope for part 3.

Thanks! I’m glad you appreciate them. Wanted to share the essentials in an easy non bs way. I may make a third part in the future but have no plans to atm. Currently developing my own feature film so have put this KZbin channel on the back burner for now. I do plan to do more filmmaking content that I think would be useful to others as I progress
