I always interpreted Red's office job as his life after he 'dies' in the show, this death is like his presence leaving a fucked-up bubble that he has lived in for so long. After Red escapes (his head blows up) Roy he takes on a normal life and has trauma of some sort. It really messed with his head and since his time on the show, he lives with paranoia and its like he expects random objects to come to life and start singing, hence the file. The creativity song is a way to cope I guess?? He 'lived' in the show and had no time outside it so those songs are all he knows. This all happens simultaneously with the healthy episode. The 'healthy song' is much more simplistic and is rushed as a way to take Duck's and Yellow guy's mind of the disappearance of Red. The food started singing and talking to interject Duck's and Yellow guy's conversation that from what I remember) goes something like this: "Hmm somethings missing"/"Oh, is it that guy?" Anyways yea thanks to whoever read this, hope you enjoyed it

I just made a connection and you all have to listen to it. In the Love episode, yellow guy misidentifies a butterfly, calling it a baby pigeon. In the dhmis interview, yellow guy says that he doesn't remember what love is, but he thinks it's a baby pidgon. All well and good, a funny reference, but I actually thought of the bird that flies into the road in the roadtrip episode, the one misidentified as a rat. And that came off as really sad actually. What is love? I don't know, but I think it's the thing that caused the accident. Do with that what you will. I think it could have something to do with yellow guy's relationship with whatshername, the one theorised to be his mother. Another thing! That I found in the interview. "What do you dream of?" yellow: "I dream that my middle is haunted." Clearly referencing his batteries!

Something that disturbed me was their answers to the questions. Like when they were asked where they lived, both yellow guy and duck said their house, like in the episode about computers. Red guy says, "I just don't know anymore." Or when they are asked their favorite colors, yellow guy responds with,"No!" Because he was told green was not a creative color

@@ateezfan190 Actually, he got canned, also known as getting fired. I think him being eaten is Roy eating away his sanity as an actor as a whole. I will also share my opinions on the episodes. 6th: 4th episode. The only episode with no redeeming quality in it. The computer is kinda annoying, about 15 seconds was just glitches in between the real world and the other one. Sorry if you like it, but it just sucked IMO. 5th: 3rd episode It was close between 4 and 3 for the bottom, but I chose this one for 5th because of the singing. The singer (The butterfly thing) is very impressive, and the transition into the creepy stuff is fantastic. My issue is red guy and duck. They both decided to just do nothing that episode. It was decent, but needed a little bit more for it to be higher on my list. 4th: 6th episode This one is very creative and has what I think is all of the lessons that we never saw. I have theories on all of the red guys, but I will say that most of is really good. The issue is the lamp. Annoying, loud, and was just overall not as good as the next 3. The next 3 are really close together on my list. Bronze: 1st episode The first episode was very creative (No pun intended) and had a lot of cool features in is and was a strong episode. The book is an absolute staple. Duck playing dumb for the show is pretty funny. The animation is good. And the song is catchy, which elevated this level so much. I wish it was just a little bit longer, but that is nitpicking. (NOTE: THESE NEXT 2 WERE SO HARD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN. THEY ARE LESS THAN A HAIR APART.) Silver: 2nd episode The song is creative and has a good meaning (Have fun in life while you can, before you look and feel like yellow guy) and is catchy. The puppets when they get old is just great and shows their talent in making horrifying things out of normal stuff. The clock does have some parts with weird sounding vocals, but this episode is just amazing. GOLD: 5th episode The meat dude is probably the best side character in the show, the bread at the beginning was funny, the distress when red guy left was good. The phone was a very good concept that worked, because the ringing makes the people stop singing, causing a thought of "What's going to go wrong?" The gore with duck is fantastic and I think yellow guy eating the cans of duck probably means that he was acting like he was very sad about it and just hogging the attention. The phone call is probably red guy and duck both saying that he needs to leave before it is too late, but since he ate up all of the attention, is was too much of a glutton to say yes. He took what he needed from then, so he left them. Great episode and totally deserves gold. *AWARDS* Best singer: Butterfly from episode 4 Best design: Meat Slab from episode 5 Most creative: Notebook from episode 1

I think it’s worth noting that at the end of Episode 6, the notepad’s eyes are a lot less condensed into the paper with crossed eyes, clearly showing this notepad is a lot more fun and wacky than the one before it, showing the uncanny teachers are also free and are able to give out the proper lessons without Roy skewing them.

Seeing the new series, this videos back again, and the Film Theory videos AGAIN, makes me think that Roy is not bad, is actually a good "guy" that actually cares about yellow guy, maybe he ones was in a "kids program" like this and it broke him like he is now, so he watches over the yellow guy now, because if the new series let us know something is the fact that if all of this was his idea he really easy could have stop the red guy there and then, he took a family of monsters be himself, i think that in the part of the machine and the stand up show, he was telling the red guy to do it, to actually ending this

When I first saw episode 6 (just the other day lol) I interpreted the ending as the loop being repeated, just on the following day, since the notepad shows up to sing the same song(?) This theory is very solid, though. A wholesome happy would be great, and I love the message of finally achieving true creative independence. Well, green is not only meant to be a creative color, but also a symbol for the part of the brain which is responsible for critical thinking and questioning. In reality, only Yellow Guy and his father exist. The red guy and the bird are only made up. Furthermore is the red guy a symbol for Yellow Guys brain. The bird is a symbol for his childish nature and behaviors, the part of Yellow Guy "mocking around", doing what he wants and exploring the world. In the episode about time, there is this scene when they all ask questions about time and how real it is, because it may only be a construct created in people's minds. In this scene, the duck is asking whether time may infact be such a construct pointing towards a picture of a cartographed human brain. Not only that but the part he is putting the pointer is an area of the brain which is colored green, an area meant to be responsible for creative thinking. It also stands for "thinking outside the box". But his father Roy doesn't allow him to do that so he isolated him and always watches and films for the show. Since red guy symbolizes his mind and control over the mental processes, when he leaves it actually means one thing. Yellow Guy has lost his mind. All this loneliness and social deprivation and the abuse and control of his father made him lose track of reality. He went insane and hallucinates dead objects talking etc..

9:19 The specific times other things showed up: In the episode about love, one of the characters says “I love my pet because he’s a crab.”, later on, Red Guy and Duck give him the last egg from the chicken picnic. In the time episode, the clock points out that time can be told by the moon or sun, and Yellow Guy talks about a tree’s rings, in the health episode, one of the teachers is literally an oversized steak, and Yellow ends up eating Duck, further showing that it wasn’t his choice, since duck is (quite obviously) a kind of bird meat. There are carpets in their house and the sky shows up in pretty much every episode. (This wouldn’t be obvious at the time of this video’s release, but) In the new TV show, the last episode mostly revolves around Yellow Guy going up the stairs and to the different floors. Almost everything on the list of things that he’s allergic to shows up at some point in DHMIS.

I don't think Yellow Guy actually ate Duck Guy. I think Roy just used the virtual reality set of Punish Land to make him dream that he had. And to punish Duck Guy for suddenly quitting the show in the middle of the episode, he temporarily put Duck Guy in Punish Land as well, giving him the nightmare that he was being eaten by the can -- the symbolism of "getting canned".

12:35 I think this is a play on the words “getting canned,” which is also a phrase used for getting fired. Duck’s outburst caused him to get fired mid-episode, and to explain his sudden absence they show him being literally canned and eaten.
