Film vs CR vs DR (for Radiologic Technologists)

Underexposed films are white - when a film is exposed it becomes darker. The unexposed areas of the film are white/more clear. An over-exposed film is too dark, but white areas are still visible outside the exposed field of view. I hope this helps and adds to the beneficial information in this video.

Adding to your valuable comparisons among the 3 facilities, the idea of the XR technology was predicted from the Scanner technique. They used this to scan the exposed photon screen plate inside the CR Cassette to display it on the Computer. the DR Technique has predicted its idea from the detectors around the CT Gantry which enable the CT X-ray images to be displayed on the CT Monitor, they collected these detectors in a Panel that known as Cassette Detector OR Flat Panel Detector FPD

Thanks, you are right that the CT detectors came before FPD but the type of detector technology is very different. The FPD have higher resolution than CT detectors but are less efficient at collecting the x-rays and have a lower dynamic range than CT.

Is it underexposure image will become totally white while overexposure the image will become totally black?

Underexposed is too bright and over exposed is too dark. In proper exposure there will be more distinct differences.
