5yrs later and the more I watch Colin the actor in pieces like this and not the characters he plays on TV/film the more I'm enthralled by his charisma, personality and ofc his looks. I try to caution myself to take into account he is 'acting' here as well and what we see is not his real personality. His public persona is probably not his private persona, the chances of that are almost zero. However, despite all this reasoning and thinking my mind failed utterly in preventing my emotions to take over whenever I see Colin. I have no defences against him. It feels a smile from him and I do everything he asks me to. Any cure for this ailment?

@@artemis2520 3 months later and it's worse than ever. My rational mind tries its best to come up with all sorts of explanations and douse my enthusiasm but it seems to lose every battle to whatever forces control my emotions. It reached a point where even thumbnails with Colin ignite a funny feeling and no, it's *not* funny anymore. I have been watching tons of other handsome actors with far more conventional sex appeal, hunkier bodies who portray iconic characters with extremely likeable traits too but they leave absolutely no personal impact on me, nothing happens. Sure, some are immensely talented and have voices I could listen to for ages even if they read me the phone book. But that's it, they don't 'move' me like this pale Irishman. What on earth is different with Colin?
