I loosely remember this arc or anything having to do with Sentinels and/or the future in the ole cartoon show as being some the overall best an coolest arcs in the x-men franchise. Its like an alternate apocalypse scenario in this particular arc except Logan didn't cause this one and might be its only savior ... no pressure, Logan cant seem to catch a break. Poor X-men too, seems one wouldnt want to have powers AND be an X-men faction member too given in these later/latest arcs an stories have a pretty high mortality rate an by the end even in the best timelines for the x-men apparently had decimated mortality rates.

I love the X-Men..since i was a young. Days of Future past is one of my favourite stories from Claremont and Byrne. This film was absolutely brilliant in every way...the rogue cut was perfect. Except for the film Logan, this film caused a lot of unwanted anxiety in me😅 the sentinels were frightening. I still think they were way to over powered.. to adapt to any mutant threat...a robot who won't or can't die seems to much.. sunspot alone should have destroyed them, i mean he has the power of the sun. But i get it, its easier to go back in time to stop this whole thing. Still a great film. Xmen 97 is really awesome. I can't wait for season 2. I thought rogues power would make sense for the sentinels to adapt. Raven can just mimic, but am i missing something with Raven? Can she mimic powers as well? Good video mate, 👍🏻 nice one, cheers.

Around 1:50 So when Wolverine asked what if someone could heal their mind as quick as it’s being torn apart, he meant brain instead of mind? Or is the mind a physical attribute? I remember the movie specifically stating how sending someone back that far in time would rip their minds to shreds (I guess you can say pun intended). Matter of fact, the movie says absolutely nothing about the process having any kind of toll on the physical body (considering it’s not the physical body being sent back in time). Don’t mind me, I’ve always thought that didn’t make sense in this movie because if Wolverine’s mind could heal like his body does he wouldn’t have needed Professor X to help him regain his memories that were lost due to William Stryker.

The movie is really a masterpiece, and remains one of my favorites. It’s because the film actually has stakes. It has the Mega-Happy Ending (Wayne’s World), but the characters have earned it. The top Superhero films used to be “Superman: The Movie,” Tobey’s “Spiderman 2,” and “The Dark Knight,” but “Days of Future Past” has to be included in that list. Plus “Infinity War” and “End Game” - which is basically one 6hr movie (characters being at their lowest - Act 2 - at the end of IW and the beginning of EG).

More people need to do an in depth analysis of this superhero masterpiece. I really have my doubts that Bryan Singer made this movie so great. I strongly believe that he used the beautifully detailed storyboards by James Cameron. There are a lot of visual tropes that make Cameron films so timeless. Look at Jack The Giant Killer and Superman Returns next to this near perfect movie. The difference compared to Days of Future Past is like night and day. X-Men Days of Future Past is way better and far more powerful than the source material IMO. Even the title makes more sense. In my opinion, Days of Future Past is Infinity War and Endgame for grownups.
