most courageous director to talk about religion and which had a huge impact on society was Maniratnam - Roja: almost cross country politics and that softened the emotion between the borders, and most importantly Bombay which brought so much of emotion and peace between the religions in a very good way Pa Ranjith and Vetrimaran are two people who talk about caste's in commercially realistic cinema's like Maniratnam, hopefully, they expand their genre and canvas talk about it in different genres like the master Maniratnam did too
