For those of you wondering, GMK Ghidorah isn't an actual King Ghidorah. In the film, he's stated to be a juvenile Yamata No Orochi which was an eight-headed dragon in ancient times. Ghidorah along with Mothra (in a book seen in the film, she is portrayed as having the tail of a phoenix) and Baragon were slain by ancient warriors who then layed the souls of the three beasts to rest, praying for them to one day defend Japan in its time of need. Ghidorah in the film had only rested long enough to grow back three heads, Takeda (a character who assists the main character Yuri in learning more about the Guardian Monsters) states that if Ghidorah had regrown all eight heads that he was basically invincible and unstoppable. Ghidorah has been many things: A cosmic terror who destroyed a planet for fun, a threat created from the bomb that created Godzilla created by people from the future, a cyborg created to save Japan from Godzilla, an ancient creature who was awakened to destroy the planet, a cosmic threat who wiped out the dinosaurs, a guardian monster who’s duty was to protect the country, an alien races last line of attack against Godzilla, an inter dimensional monster who can bend a dimension's rules at his will, and a titan who’s goal was to terraform the planet to his liking. He truly is “the one who is many.” Still one of my favorite kaiju besides Godzilla.

Legendary Ghidorah is by far my favourite design for the Titan. He looks like a legit "Realistic" dragon with proportionate wing to body ratio. The older ones are still great don't get me wrong but Legendary Ghidorah hits different for me

Shin is better on its own. Its the only movie that does credit to the original in portraying Godzilla as a tragic, in pain, truly monsterous and horrific mutated creature. Showa is goofy monsters fighting, Heisei is less goofy monsters fighting, but Shin and the OG are just Godzilla being horrifying and dangerous. For me I prefer that Legendary embraces the big titan brawls aspect of Godzilla whereas the Reiwa era focuses on the horrors and terror of it like it has been with Shin, the anime, and singular point so far
