Used to watch in late 50s or early 60s. Now what impresses me is the partnership between the Lone Ranger and Tonto, and the Ranger's commitment to using as little force as possible in capturing outlaws. Racial harmony, justice, care for animals, faith--programme aims to instill morals and high ideals. Sure it's stilted and improbable, but it was a good show for kids to watch.

Yep, people who dress up as cowboys today would call it "liberal propaganda"

Absolutely! Look at the difference between the shows that were on TV in those days and what is shown on TV now. It’s absolutely no wonder that the morals and values in America society have gone down the sewer system!

There was never such a good guy. In a fight his uniform never got wrinkled or dirty. And he always shot the gun out of the hand of bad guy, using only silver bullets just in case he accidentally winged the guy & give him lead poisoning.

So glad you put these up. I never saw this show even as a kid. It was great to see the origin story on the last episode. Now the Lone Ranger makes sense! Finally its amazing these old shows didn't have music except for in select parts and never over dialog.

At any point did Tonto not think, I just met this guy & saved his life. Now he’s bossing me around, telling me what to do all the time. What a pain in the …

Didn't just meet this guy. In episode one, we learn that when they were teenagers, LR saved Tonto's life after an attack on his village.

I just wanted to tell you that God loves you so much that he said his only begotten son to be your savior. You can accept Jesus as your savior anytime you want. As the old saying goes he is only a prayer away.
