@luust40052 жыл бұрын
No, the police station scene is what it is: Harley taking down cops armed with a grenade launcher, but instead of grenades it launches glitter bombs, smoke bombs & beanbags. It's her fun gun for a reason, that's her style, just like Joker using laughter smoke for a terrorist assault. This scene is different because you can see she's having a meltdown. She's serious the whole scene, the lyrics of the song playing talk about feeling sad and lonely & she's clearly reminiscing her relationship with joker, that's what sets the tone for her getting into her own head & censoring the blood for herself, putting flowers instead because she's trynna hold back her meltdown & go into her happy place (which is flower-y feminine violence)

All action movies are hyperreal and exaggerated. But you can tell a lot of people have never really paid attention to pro gymnastics! There is A LOT of force behind inertia and momentum with the human body. Even a relatively small weight can knock an adult human being around if it is preceded by the right windup.

One thing about Harley Quinn is the combination of her Olympic gymnastic agility and high Ph.D level intellect. Plus her fearless attitude, and her crazy mentality. All combine into an assassin.

The DCEU was filled with expertly directed moments of action, and this was one of its strongest moments. Such a shame these films were never allowed to add up to anything, because I believe most of them were great.

0:10 It would have been much more difficult for Harley to make her escape if the executioner, left alone, had not thought of purely by chance to stand with his back to her so that it would be easier to finish her off with his feet.

I was surprised to find a lot of Harley Quinn fans disliked this scene, but in my opinion this is the most badass, fun, and accurate to the character action sequence I've ever seen. She was literally just used as a sex symbol and had no interesting character development in Suicide Squad 2016, but this truly felt like Margot mastered the persona and insanity of Harleen Quinzel from the comics. And for those who complained about the cartoony flowers and birds as she was killing people... yeah this is kind of what I had in mind for what goes down in Harley's brain as she is committing heinous acts in most media. There's a reason she was able to pull off everything so flawlessly here- she learned from the clown prince of crime. She's a heavily damaged individual- a genius psychiatrist and genuinely cares about individuals she sees good in- but she's delusional to an extreme extent, brought about mainly from the abuse and torment she suffered under the Joker's mental manipulation
