The people making movies in already established universes have zero respect source material / lore. They have no idea how to create something new so they take something that people already care about and butcher it to fit their needs. Notice how there's VERY few original movies coming out now, everything is all reboots, sequels, prequels etc. Its because the people that are hired now aren't hired for their creative abilities... lets just say that Hollywood is more bothered about appearances than actual substance. Which is ironic since in doing so, their public image is all but gone.

The Gorge looks interesting. I'll watch Mission Impossible simply cause I've been along the ride and it looks like it might actually be the last movie. I'm praying John Wick Ballerina is actually good and not just a cash grab. I'm optimistic about Brave New World. Legit excited for 28 years later. Mickey 17 seems like it might be a refreshing dark humor type comedy, looks inspired by outer worlds and fallout.
