still feel that Filmfare is influeced with some families or production group. In my opinion KATI PATANG was most deserving movie to won the best music award but shocked to see it was even not nominated. None of the nominated movie having all the songs hit only 3-4 songs were hit but KATI PATANG all the songs are superhit till today

Unfortunately kati patang was not even nominated..i am a big Rd Burman fan but i think mera naam joker music deserved that award.. otherwise there was madan mohan ultimate compositions also for dastak not nominated 👍👍

Very interesting episode only one thing jaya bhaduri and asha parekh had tough competion but asha parekh win the same due to lots of drama emotion and good acting by her it is also good to note that mera naam joker was consider for all plus points of that film like music photography and direction by raj kapoor. Rakeshji I think all the good films were consider for nomination only thing pancham da had done good work in caravan and Kati patang. Paras will be remember by us due to mahmood and farida jalal and both got the awards .good video rakeshji.

Such great movies: MNJ, Anand, Andaz, Kati Patang, Dastak. Shocked that Madan Mohan saab was not even nominated for Dastak. SJ were very good in MNJ but Madan Mohan imparted such sensuousness as well as pain pain to the songs of Dastak. Very sad that he was never appreciated in his lifetime. Strange that Johny Walker was not nominated for best comedian for his role in Anand. Jagdeep and Mehmood were so cringe. Also Vinod Khanna not being nominated for supporting actor in MGMD. He was so impressive as the dacait. Though I am happy that AB won the award for Anand, VK should at least have been nominated. Similarly, Hema should have been nominated for Andaz. I am happy that AP won but rather than Jaya Bhaduri being nominated twice, Hema could have got a nomination. Another SHOCK was Mukesh saab not being nominated. I mean, Jaane Khahn Gaye wo Din and Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan are classics. Thank you for sharing this Rakesh ji. As you can see, I got totally involved.

@rakeshsadeo No doubt. Filmfare awards have always been very suspect. A few actors have even spoken about how they were asked to give money if they wanted to win the award. After watching this episode, I listened to the songs of Dastak and was happy to learn that Madan Mohan ji won the National Award for best music for it.
