Filmic Pro VoiceOver compatibility. My thoughts and overview.

The filmmaking app FiLMPro has recently added accessibility features compatible for visually impaired users. Many of the features are now compatible with Apple’s VoiceOver screen reader for the iPhone. Will these updates give a visually impaired user A similar experience using FiLMiC Pro as a sighted user?
Here I go over these features and mention what I like so far, as well as what needs to be tweaked for future updates.

I have used Filmic Pro now and then. I’m not a professional film-maker like you but am legally blind. The VoiceOver suport has been a nice addition as far as it goes. I’ve used it more to learn what items are what and then turned it off. In other words I’ve used it to help ID what icons do what things but once I know that I can switch it off. For what it is worth I also use LumaFusion for editing videos either on an iPad or the iPhone. In fact, pretty much everything I’ve posted over the last several years has been put togehter with LumaFusion or prior to that Pinnacle Studio (now and then iMovie either on an iMac or iOS device).

Could you also share the demonstration how videos could be edited using voiceover.

I’m actually working on a video about that. It’s in the planning stage for the time being. It’ll cover editing on the Mac. I haven’t tried editing video on the iPhone and iMovie though.
