Hi!, I do a lot of filming at night only using the surrounding lighting. I want to be able to get the best quality video with the most lighting possible. Do you have any recommendations on the best setting to use. Thanks for the upload much appreciated.

Great video, Cassius. What was the external light source you were using in it?

Really interesting and insightful series. Curious as to whether you use FilmicPro's Noise Reduction and Sharpness and if so which settings? Do these help or hinder with post-production work and footage quality?

Hi, i use a Filmic pro on my iPhone 11 pro and i shoot al 4k 24fps with shutter speed al 1/48 but in low light ext my video has a noise... may you help me?
@gomakefilms4 жыл бұрын
There will always be noise in the video clips but it’s about keeping it as low as possible - so do the following set your shutterspeed to 1/48th and drop the iso as low as it will go on the wheel. Now on that left wheel sometimes people don’t notice that by accident they may have gone from low iso to moderate or high iso. In between the iso and shutterspeed numbers there are 3 white circles of you swipe through you will see at the top of your screen low iso, moderate iso and high iso - make sure you are on low iso (usually the first circle on the left) - in the past I’ve made this mistake by not noticing that I had gone onto a different setting - so try that and hopefully it will improve - but so remember you can’t get rid of all noise

@@gomakefilms Thanks for your kindness... i found the 3 white circle. Is there antthing you do during the video editing for minimize the noise?

It looks like you lose light bars very strategically.

I try iPhone12 (wide camera) with FILMIC PRO, 4K, logv2, filmic extreme, manual exp/focus (ISO 33). But my picture looks 5x times more noisy then you. :-(
@gomakefilms4 жыл бұрын
Check if you have by accident adjusted the wrong iso - on the left side when you see the iso and shutter wheel there are 3 small white dots - if you swipe across each one you will see low iso, medium iso and high iso. Sometimes these are activated and even though your iso number is low you may have boosted it on these settings

@@gomakefilms Thank you. I'm still at the left dot (lowest possible iso). In lowlight I cannot use highest ISO (picture is too dark). I think lower ISO = lower noise
