I watched Pushpa 2 thrice. In this OTT era, I rarely go out to watch movies. Even when I do, it’s hard to find a film that excites me enough to watch it multiple times. But Pushpa 2 is an exception. Full credit to Sukumar and Allu Arjun for creating such a blockbuster! On a different note, I remember Taran Adarsh from his days on the ETC channel. He used to review and comment on movies, and one specific incident stands out. He was talking about a Telugu movie starring Mahesh Babu-possibly Rajakumarudu, though I’m not entirely sure. I don’t recall if it was a dubbed Hindi version or the original Telugu, but his comment had me in splits. He said that watching Mahesh Babu in that movie, with his clean-shaven look, felt like watching a film with two heroines. It was hilarious because Mahesh Babu really didn’t look like a typical hero in those days!

Ravi bhai, yes there is indigenous part of the film making but what people are not discussing is the very art of film making. The direction episodes instantly reminded me of the Equalizer scenes. That’s the quality of the episodes particularly the interval scene. Hollywood beating presentation hence the acceptance in overseas markets too. The quality is beyond an average Indian cinema. The contributing factors can only be the commitment, dedication, planning and budgets. One good thing is this would certainly encourage others to stop seeing the movie making as fast food production mindset
