Be it the 100th time you are listening to this song, it always seems so fresh and intoxicating. The tune is so simple and the part by Rafi is quite repetitive but all the same, the singing has some ethereal effect and the voice of Geeta is no less. Or it the mesmerizing Dev Saab cooing his sweet nothings to his sweetheart the beautiful Shakila? What is it about this song that makes it so mysterious, lasting, and endearing? But it is above all the direction of Nayyar Saab that has managed to pull all these effects together and deliver a sweet and lovable song. It also speaks volumes for the power of the raga based Indian music. Thanks.
