Hey man, looks like you're changing the format of the channel a bit, you have the look of a real wildlife photographer! It's great that you are getting off the touristy beaten path, you have my attention in future videos. Thanks for sharing and you are truly making me miss Switzerland! P.S. I hope the picture of my friends foot didn't make sick after your raclette and cardinal beer?

Nice first clips! I do mostly wildlife photography. There is exactly the same problem. Currently I use a D850 with a Sigma 60-600mm. But i feel like the optical quality of the Tamron 150-600 would have been better. At first i also used a teleconverter, but those can leave you with a very bad image and very little light. Always the problem with those zooms is the amount of light you can get in to the lens. But primes are just so f-ing expensive!

I know this might be a odd question, how is Switzerland doing with its reintroduction attempt of introducing European bison in Switzerland?
@AmericameetsSwitzerland2 жыл бұрын
I didn't knowabout the bison! I'm going to have to look into that.
@WaechterDerNacht Жыл бұрын
They are currently on a large field with some forest in the area where they want to reintroduce them in the Thal region (Balsthal - Welschenrohr). Don't know exactly how big this area is. After some time they will open the field for a bigger one to observe how they act in the forest before opening it completely in a couple years.

@@WaechterDerNacht that's greate news whenever I come visiting family in Switzerland 🇨🇭 again I'll definitely plan a hike to observe them, it's crazy to think that wildlife rewinding and conservation has come this far

Might want warn that ‘hiking’ the Grosser Mythen is more like climbing. 😂

True. It is a little bit more like climbing than hiking.
