Should I insure a drone weighing less than 250g in Switzerland? And when registering on the Swiss registration site, do they ask for insurance details?

Funny video, thank you. I really enjoyed it. However I did live in Los Angeles for about 5 years and all I remember about driving on these huge 5 lanes freeways is the bumper to bumper traffic jam occurring 24/7. And respecting the basic rules is the way for us to avoid reaching the point to wanting shooting at each other 😂

The cost of housing and price of food is a serious issue. Was thinking to move there to work, but don't think it's when it... Unless you are filthy rich don't think about moving there...

Some rules are strict and right, others are pointless, others are downright stupid, and some don't exist because none of the important people deciding things could be bothered to implement them. Also in many places you get the glare if you just happen to not be from the village. Gives me flashbacks from eastern Turkey or western Kashmir.

English is the best language 😊
@treeinblossom7314Ай бұрын
thsnk you that was the clearest head blowing explanation guess. needed to have an idea about the language before starting learning, yet the only idea I got now is that there's not a specific language. Shall learn German first for the official needs or Italian, cuz am not a big fun of french ?! shall I learn the swiss german for an easier communication though it's not spoken all over the country ?! or I just need to keep my English to interact with people?!

Am I allowed to move to Switzerland but it’s a little confusing because I receive survivor benefits in the US would I get that same there?
@UrNextExАй бұрын
That's for the potato. Can't help you there but for das Mädchen. The reason it has a neutral definite article even though it's referring to a girl which one would think was feminine is because it has the ending chen. When you add the ending chen (Which is used to make something. Sound small and cute similar to the ending cito In Spanish) Always takes on the definite article das.

One BIG disadvantage: Mandatory military/alternative service. If Switzerland is that peaceful, there's no need to have conscripted military. Especially that Switzerland is not around danger countries. This law is only used to discriminate males. Nothing more. Switzerland should change this system for professional army like in every modern society. Or - better - abolish the military. There are groups which are in favour for it. Same as in the USA.

Hello Mr Reed, my name is Beth, I'm an Assistant Producer at a TV company called 'King of Sunshine Productions' based in Salford, England. I tried emailing you, but it may have gone into your junk folder. I wanted to reach out to ask if we could possibly discuss a documentary we're producing in Switzerland. Please let me know if it's something you'd like to discuss. Thanks so much! Beth

Reading through the older comments, I was struck by the number of folks who mentioned "frequent speed-limit changes" as an annoyance. To them, I'd say, "Just stay out of Austria."

Cannot compare and say which one is better due to the size of the 2 countries are so different, which translates to infrastructures cost, how long the roads, etc. I live in Zurich, not from the US but other huge country faraway. So I can relate why US does it that way, and Swiss does it the other way. In smaller country ( area-wise) made it necessary & possible to (over) regulate anything. It only takes 4 hours to drive from end to end of Switzerland. Yes, driving in my country also more freedom, not worry too much. Driving there can also take days or weeks to reach destination as it is so big. This topic is similar to walkable vs unwalkable country.

Bruh, if you think the “Swiss glare” is bad, you should come to London. If you do anything other than look down for your entire journey on the underground, you could be arrested for harassment. That’s how seriously we take it. Also, add a like below if you’re apart of the international community of commuters who collectively dislike the individuals who watch KZbin and TikTok videos on blast without headphones. It’s an international phenomenon not a Swiss one..! 👇 Don’t be that person!

You will get a Swiss glare if you order coffee to go because the cafe is full but then if at that moment you get your coffee a seat opens up and you sit down in the cafe with your "to go" cup all hell will break loose.
