I've seen Ernest Dickerson in person twice and both times he was morose. The first time it was at the Chinese 6 in Hollywood. He was with his family carrying all the concessions. I said to him "looks like you got your hands full" referring not only to the concessions he carried but because of all the kids with him. He didn't smile. I ripped his ticket and he went into the theater. The second time I saw him was at the funeral of a talent agent named Phil Hersh. So it was understandable why he was sullen for that occasion.

Nobody watched the movie, after all these years Pac still came out with albums after death, and countless documentaries, I've seen just about every movie about Pacs life. How many more tragic stories do I need to see to remind myself of his greatness, we all know it. But at some point it gets tiring watching the same story. Let the man rest in peace.
